WOW! 8.3! Two in the same day that are that huge? I type "earthquake" and "chile" on google and there are a lot of people "Tweeting" about it.

I hope someone updates soon about it.

Wow, that was quick! I just saw this on Fox.

Fox reported that the area that was hit is the 2nd largest populated area in Chile. I pray that people there are safe and that the earthquake hit far enough away to not do too much damage in human lives. :pray

They said it was around 36 miles deep...that still seems shallow is it not? I really am lost when it comes to this subject. They also said there are blackouts so it must have shacken things a bit.
