posting pics in an album

we were trying to upload pictures and it says they are all too big, even after i resized it to be extremely small. i was just wondering how to post pictures in my album correctly, thanks.

Mods, I had the same problem. Couldn't upload a photo from my computer to an existing album. It wasn't a problem before the new board format. Now I get a message saying the file is too big.

What happened?

I can't upload photos from my computer to my albums anymore either. System is saying the file is too big. But they're no bigger than the others I uploaded before the sytem change.

Can anyone help me with this? I'm trying to post a couple photos from Israel in the Brothers group.

you just have to go to settings and go down to my settings and edit avatar and profile pic. When you see upload pic click on that and it will up load pics from your pic file in your pc that you pick. we took pictures from our email then saved them to picture library on our windows and used that as pic file. hope that helps its hard to explain

I have no problem uploading photos for my avatar or siggie. The problem is uploading jpg's into albums.

Okay, I just now made a new album called Israel Trips.

In Albums, Upload Pictures, File Upload Manager, Add Files from your Computer, Select Files...

After trying to upload a 534.1 KB jpg from the home computer, an orange circle with an exclamation point in the middle appears. I click it and it reads:

259.2 KB of 29.3 KB Used

This phrase is also showing in in the album screen at top right before I tried to upload the image. How can 259 KB of 29 KB be used? :rolls

The image I tried to upload is no bigger than other images I put into my other album before the board format change. What is going wrong?


So, I just tried turning Enhanced Attachment Uploading to "Off" in General Settings and uploading the same jpg. This note appeared:

Exceeds your quota by 324.2 KB. Click here to view your attachments.

I clicked to view the attachments and it took me to the FAQ Smilies page. :rolls

Click on Community>My Albums>Create New Album

Then enter the title and description of your album (remembering to choose whether it is public or private)

Once in the album, click on Upload Pictures, which brings up another box.

Click on Add Files, which brings up another box.

In this box, click on Select Files.

This opens another box, showing available files on your own computer.

Once you have selected the file you want, click on Upload Files.

Finally, click on Save Changes.
