Arnold Fruchtenbaum
was born in 1943 in Siberia , Russia after his Jewish father — falsely accused of being a Nazi spy when he fled Poland from Hitler — was released from a Communist prison. With the help of the Israeli underground in 1947, the Fruchtenbaum family escaped from behind the Iron Curtain to Germany. The family immigrated to New York in 1951. At age 13, Arnold came to know Jesus the Messiah.His father strongly opposed Arnold 's beliefs, and when the family moved to Los Angeles in 1958, he was forbidden to read the Bible or associate with Jewish- Christian groups. At age 18, Arnold was forced by his father to leave home because of his faith. He was married in 1968 to Mary Ann Morrow. Three years later (1971), he graduated with a Master of Theology degree from Dallas . He has traveled widely in Europe, Israel and the United States, and is in great demand as a speaker.
Dave Hunt
A true contender for the faith, Dave placed his trust in Jesus just before entering high school. After acquiring a degree in Mathematics, he married Ruth and raised 4 daughters. During this time, Dave became involved in numerous Campus ministries, which later led to serving God full time through authorship of many books on cults, ecumenism, New Age thinking, and various heretical teachings. The Berean Call Newsletter is an effective tool for exhorting and encouraging the body to 'earnestly contend for the faith'.
Thomas Ice
is Executive Director of The Pre-Trib Research Center in Arlington , Texas , which he founded in 1994 with Dr. Tim LaHaye to research, teach, and defend the pretribulational rapture and related Bible prophecy doctrines. Ice has co-authored over 20 books, written dozens of articles, and is a frequent conference speaker. He has served as a pastor for 15 years. Dr. Ice has a B.A. from Howard Payne University , a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. from Tyndale Theological Seminary, and lives with his wife Janice and their three boys in Arlington , Texas .
T.A. McMahon
is the president and executive director of the Berean Call ministry, as well as editor of the newsletter. He has co- written such works as The Seduction of Christianity and The New Spirituality. He also has written numerous documentaries and scripted several major feature films, such as The Cult Explosion, The God Makers, and A Woman Rides the Beast. He also is extensively involved in the "Reaching Catholics for Christ" ministry.
Chuck Missler
received a Congressional appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy and then served in the U.S. Air Force. After leaving active duty, he became Branch Chief of the Department of Guided Missiles at Lowry Air Force Base. Chuck has a Masters Degree in engineering from UCLA and a Ph.D. from Louisiana Baptist. He has worked as a systems engineer at TRW, followed by a Senior Analyst position serving both the intelligence community and the Department of Defense; for the Ford Motor Company where he established the first international industrial computer network; as consultant to the Board of Directors of Rockwell International for corporate acquisitions; and on the Board of Directors of over a dozen public companies, as CEO for six of them. Chuck is a top-notch conference speaker, author, and articulate student and teacher of the Scriptures.
Warren Smith
Warren’s day job as community social worker gives him the freedom to be a freelance writer whose spiritual roots formerly went deep into the New Age Movement. As a result of his experiences with the occult and his subsequent salvation in Christ, he has a burden to alert the church of the last days about encroaching New Age teachings in both the Purpose-Driven movement and the Emerging Church. Warren’s writing credits include The Light That Was Dark, Reinventing Jesus Christ, and Deceived on Purpose. Warren makes his home in central California.
