My kids love a certain movie and I want to make a copy so that they don't destroy the original. Can someone tell me how to do this.
Thanks

Go to the Finder --> Applications --> Utilities, then open "Disk Utility."
Once there, and assuming you've already inserted the DVD to be copied, you will see the DVD on the left hand side. Click it, and then select 'New Image' at the top, and make sure that you select 'DVD/CD Master' as the image format.
This page (http://www.kenstone.net/fcp_homepage/making_dvd_copies.html) basically tells you the same thing, 'cept with pictures. :)

Oh me too... shiny pictures :nod
Kung, do you think "Toast" is really that worthwhile for dvd/cd copying vs just using the Mac utilities?

If you're JUST going to copy, I wouldn't waste the money on Toast. I've had my Mac for going on a year and a half now, and I've not had any problems with either the built in utilities, or the occasional free utility.
