Question on Israel/Palestine

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to put this but I have a few questions. Or maybe just one..

Around my campus there is intense anti-Israel sentiment, boards, etc. Currently we have a huge wall built by the Muslim Association berating Israel, basically depicting them as brutes, killers, and generally people who terrorize the innocent. The big heading is "A history of genocide". I will take pictures for you guys tomorrow.

I was surprised because this is a school campus but the thing is pretty much there being offensive to Israeli students.

My question is, the general consensus I keep reading is that Israel is guilty but I know that that is stemming from major bias.

Can you guys inform me on why you think Israel is right in whatever they do/did? At least this will serve to keep me informed because I even hear this from my Christian friends "I know you're on Israels side due to a religious standpoint but I don't believe they were right in so and so" yeah, that's coming from the mouths of Christians.

Israel is not right in everything they do just like us, but they try to do the right thing. How many years did they get rocket attacks by thousands of rockets? And for what? They gave the "palestinians" land. They gave them land and got violence in return. So after years of having their communities and children threatend, hurt, and occassionally killed, they struck back trying to get the terrorists.
But the terrorists are cowards and hide among schools to kill their ownt to show "genocide". The whole genocide argument is foolish. If Israel wanted to do genocide they have the weapons why dont they do it? Because they are a peace loving democracy.

I dont have any stats, but there has always been a jewish presence in that region even if small. Also, there were places in that region that were wasteland (in the Gaza Strip) that were bought by jews form arabs, and made productive. This is a fairly known fact thatoccured prior to 1948 by zionists maybe even starting in the late 1800's. But when it comes down to it there didnt have to be one jew there before 1948 for it to be theirs, because God the one and only true God gave it to them and promised in His word that it would happen and in a day!

Let me put it this way...as a Jew in Israel going shopping you are always on alert, each Jew, man woman. and child is given a Gas mask. Instead of having fire drills or tornadoe drills they have real rocket sirens go off with real rockets raining down never knwoing if there is gas in them or if they will be hit most of the time they do not need a tornadoe or fire drill they deal with the real thing even though they do still have drills...As a younger person you may not remember fall out shelters...They have them all over the place there for bombs and the chance there will be a nuke one day. Many of the oldest jews still wear a tattoe of numbers given to them by the nazis who now the Paletinaians state the holocaust never happened but never ask the surviors..Armed soilders are through out the country.. Every Man or Woman who turns 18 serves in the military to protect them. and the biggest point of misunderstanding that before the Jews recieved the land back of Israel it was a desert wasteland and hardly any arabs or muslims for that matter ever lived in the country it was mostly nomads.. The Jews created the irrigation and other infrastructure to build the biggest agriculture and farming industry per capita in the western world. That is the major exports for them as well as knowledge. The bottom line is there were no "Palistians in the land of Israel and all the land that Israel aquired in the 1967 war was due to the attacks and invasions of the countries that surrounded them the countries attacked and not only lost the war but the land..Put it in words imagine if 3000 rockets from Mexico or Toranto rained down on San Diego or New York and we did nothing over and over till finally we had enough... That is what the palistinenes did and the response by Israel was to finally say I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!...The USA wouldn't wait for the second rocket to fall on one of their cities they would invade Canada or Mexico right then and there and take care of it.
