Oh I feel your pain!! I sweat like a stinky male teenager (but Im female). I used to stink within a half hour of showering, even while wearing regular over the counter deoderant!! It was rediculous! I tried certain dri too but ended up trashing it after a week or it not working. Besides at this time I also had a huge lump (grew rapidly to 6cm before surgery to remove it) right by one of my armpits on my breast and I vowed to never use deoderant with aluminum again. I tried the unscented deoderant from http://oyinhandmade.com/oyin/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=7 and it worked sooooo well. I can finally say I don't stink anymore and no more shirt staining! I also dont have to worry about the ingredients anymore either. I highly recommend this stuff!! Its pretty cheap too because it lasts a loooongggg time!

I am SO GLAD that I am not the only one with pit problems. :yeahMy husband is just as bad! I am going to get this stuff you recommended!
Thank you!
I don't know what my deal is lately but I have been using the Dove no white marks stuff and I don't feel like those ladies on TV do!
:panic

Okay, I don't remember exactly when I read this in the newspaper, but it was within the last year. Sweat is not a clear liquid - it is actually a semi-thick yellowish liquid, hence the yellow stains. I do believe that it reacts worse with some deodorants. If I can find the source, I will post it.

The sun is AWESOME on stains. I had a quilt that got all wet in storage, mildewed, etc....I brought it home, dceided to try to wash it cause it would be ruined if I didn't, anyway. Put a bit Resolve on. Came out with still some stainage. Spread it on the patio for a few days. Good as new, no marks, no smell.

Now be warned that your pitts will need to "detox" for a month or two after you stop using deoderant with aluminum in it. The oyin started working pretty well at first but it took about a month for my body to detox all that junk out and react well with the natural stuff. I highly recommend the black cedar fig scent...its so yummy smelling (and its Manly smelling enough for the hubby to use too). But if you have sensitive skin the unscented is good also! At first I broke out because it was a new product, then I started diluting it with mineral oil, coconut oil or water (for instance I took out a little bit on my finger and ran it under water for a second or rubbed it on with oil) and no more sensitivity issues! The little jar will last you several months, and I think for 4.50 its a bargain!

I'm going to try this stuff too... have you tried the mango one? I like fruity scents more, just wondering if you have ever tried it? :scratch Well anyway, thanks for posting the link for all of us smelly ladies out here :lol2

I've never had this problem with any of our clothing but have you tried using the Zote bar to pretreat the stains? It's a cheap bar of laundry soap that you can get at Big Lots or the dollar store. I use a grater and grate about 2 tablespoons of it in every load of really dirty clothing and it works great, even on blood stains or grass stains.

That's what took out the stains from my daughter's clothing because she gets a lot of nose bleeds during this time of year -- allergies.

Hey, Lemon juice and vinegar is great, but if they don't quite get it, try peroxide straight up. Works great on any protein stain like blood, grass etc. Thats what I used to get blood out of my nursing uniform.

I have heard that if you put lemon juice on the stain, and lay the garment out in the sun, the stain will disappear. Never had this problem, but it would be worth a try. Also, have you ever tried Oxy-Clean in your laundry? It won't hurt, even if it doesn't help.
Have you looked at the ingredients for Oxy-Clean? My dh bought some of the laundry stain remover. Under contents it listed one item...hydrogen peroxide!! :idunno
