This recipe is a favorite! Spread 2 lbs of shredded frozen hashbrowns in a 9 x 11 baking pan. Pour 1 cube of melted butter over the top of that. Sprinkle 1/2 of a chopped onion over that. Mix 16 oz sour cream with 1 can cream of mushroom soup. Spread that over the top. Sprink 1/2 cup bread crumbs next, and top with shredded cheddar cheese. bake in 350 oven for 1 hour or until hot and bubbly. Absolutely delicious! You can also add chopped ham in and make it a main dish.
