My sister in law gave us a HUGE bag of Similac dry can formula to use. We have a 11 week old.
The thing is, the doc has put our baby girl on Infamil Lipil AR.
We'd really love to take it all to Wal-Mart for a trade...just think they would laugh at us. :o)
Do you have any advice?

I don't know of any exchanges.
I can tell you when we put our youngest on regular formula, it would give him problems. We put him on soy formula (per doctors advice) but once in a while give him regular formula for bowel movements.
You may wanna try the WIC office and see if they can direct you.

How about calling the Wal-Mart and asking first?

that is a good idea about wal-mart. They are pretty flexible about exchanges

I did not think of calling the store.
I wondered if anyone knew of an online swap site...but I would be careful since you never know where people stored the cans.

Carried Along, many crisis pregnancy centers give out formula to new mothers for free, and they would be delighted with a donation of this formula. Just a thought.
