I have seen this little movie twice on EWTN. It is an old moive, circa 1950.

It is presented as if the following events really happened. The script is very "scriptural sounding". A person would think that this is what the Bible really said.

First Peter and another apostle are discussing the death of Mary. She is referred to as Our Mother, the Mother of us all. Then another apostle comes along and greets Peter as "my pontiff" and weeps for the death of Ever Virgin Mother. They decide to go to her tomb and see her one more time.

The three roll back the stone and see live lillies (she was called also the Lilly of Israel) and no body. They kneel down in amazment and declare what a wonder God has done for Mary who never was with sin.

Next event is of John as an old man. He is being tormented by the Romans to deny his faith in Jesus. He refuses and is put into boiling oil. Because it does not kill him, he is taken before the roman leader. Upon questioning, John tells them all it is because he was given a vision. The vision is of Mary. He saw Mary being crowned by her Son and He declares her to be Queen of Heaven.

In between all this are little scenes of people praying the rosary, but only the "Hail Mary" part is actually being said.

The deliberate deception is obvious and I could punch a lot of holes in the script. It is a "different gosple".

And it is still being shown . I saw it yesterday, Monday 9/10/2007 on EWTN. In my opinion, it is just one more nail to hammer in the surge in acceptence of the co-redemptrix doctrine. While Mary has always been venerated in the RCC, this movement is taking over and the more balanced in thought are being shoved out. The day is close that there will be a formal declaration from the vatican.

Of all things catholic, this is the one issue that is truely apostate.

That is just outright sick. If Mary can see all of this Mary-adulation now, she must be heartsick that so many have elevated her so high.
