A dozen dead after flooding in western Arkansas, death toll may rise

LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS (BNO NEWS) — Up to six people may have been killed in flooding in western Arkansas on early Friday, a BNO News source said.

The source said at least two, and up to as many as six, people had been killed in the flooding, which happened in the area of the Caddo River. It was not immediately clear how the victims died.

Rescue crews from Montgomery and Pike counties are responding to the area to help an unknown number of people who are believed to be trapped.
