Matthew 3:13-17 The Baptism of Jesus :scripture
When I read this yesterday with my aunt, who is extremely devoted to Christ, she told me something that I didn't know until we read over those verses. God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus were together at the same time. :yeah
Does anyone see that in those verses??

Yes and know -
....keeping in mind that Jesus accepted the Will of His Father by giving up His own Heavenly Glory to come to earth as a man and pay the required penality for sin...
Yet Jesus even while (in human terms) physically seperated from His Heavenly Father here on earth stated ....
John 10:30 I and [my] Father are one (or heis in NT Greek)
.
heis = numeral one
My point being that while we as humans refer to Christ, God the Father and the Holy Spirit in three parts - they have always been and will remain (under the doctrine of the Holy Trinity) - a single Godhead entity....
John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father?
John 14:11 Believe me that I [am] in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
The only time in all eternity that Jesus and the Father (and the Holy Spirit) were ever "separated" in any real sense was for the moments on the cross under the veil of darkness when Christ literally took all the sins of the world onto himself and thus God the Father had to seperate apart - and that is what caused Christ to cry our in great agony - why have you forsaken me ?
