Calling it a "very grave situation," the Vatican has excommunicated members of a controversial Quebec Catholic movement, the Army of Mary, for their heretical beliefs that derive from the writings of Marie-Paule Giguère, an 86-year-old mystic who claims to be a reincarnation of the Virgin Mary.

Founded as a prayer group in 1971, and recognized by the Archbishop of Quebec four years later, the Army of Mary has been a headache for Canadian Catholic bishops ever since.

In her writings, Mme. Giguère described visions and messages she received from God, explaining that Mary, the mother of Jesus, is fully divine, and also that, as her modern incarnation, so is Mme. Giguère. Rather than the traditional Catholic Trinity - in which God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are each fully divine and part of a three-part deity - the Army of Mary now speaks of a "quinternity," including Mary and Mme. Giguère.

The RCC has known about them for quite some time. This cult is heavily influenced by
the apparitions of the Lady of All Nations which was approved at one time. I think that
approval has since been revoked, but I'm not 100% sure because I haven't checked up
on it in a couple of years.

The teaching of the quinternity stems from the apparitions themselves, I believe. A couple
of specific messages from those apparitions:

"At the same level, to the left, the gospel side, will be the altar of the Lady of All Nations.
On the epistle side, the altar of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Notice well, at the
same level as the Sacrifice."

Would really like to know how many members they have now. The article seems to allude that it is much less than 20,000 members.

I'm not sure. One article I found stated that there were more than 25,000 members
as of 2001. I've tried searching through their website, but it's a navigational nightmare
and I haven't been able to find anything.

So, the Catholic church was aware of the message that this apparition was imparting and accepted the ramblings of this evil visitation. They ruled a separation in 1987 as a warning to this religious group, but did not significantly break away from its affiliation until 6 priests were ordained by improper procedures. That's what I was wondering. The Catholic Church cared more about their procedures than the evil beliefs that were being perpetuated through the visions. Far more important to them, was the way in which these priests were appointed. Never mind the spiritual message of the appariton to its' founder or of the souls it was affecting.

Most likely, the forces within the Vatican want to be in control of the process of putting Mary up on the Throne....making her one with God.

But they did let this obscentity roll it self out for 50/60 years. Hmmm...........letting it become acceptable to one whole generation. Seed sown so to speak.

My scenerio is that there will be a pope one day ( a politcal man, one who wants to save the church) who has a vision, perhaps satan /Mary (ie Lucifer, angel of light) will even provide "proof". The majority of catholics will swallow this up like chocolate. They have been educated in Mary worship under the guise of veneration.

Mary will become a dominate part of Mass. There will be a new declared sacrament in her name.


This lost world has turned to so many mystics and visions and read Nostrodomus and Marion prophecies . They watch all kinds of movies with end of the world scenerios.

The Vatican knows it is losing numbers of catholics in an astonishing rate. They do not have nearly enough priests. They will make a calculated move to draw on that weakness of the searching people and they will draw them into their fold. While I think many will leave the RCC over this insult to the Christ, they will be replaced and more so.

The old prophets and the Book of Revelation foretold all this. Spiritual warfare for souls is being battled for the final day of His Coming.

I was also offended and sickened and stopped reading about 1/3 way through. I assume that the RCC has not condemned this stuff because it ultimately plays into what they have planned for Mary, namely making her co-redemptrix, etc. :panic
