Every year the fari comes to town, if you want to see everyone in the town your in, this is the place to go. I went to the Blackwell Fair in OK, thats where my cousins live. I was thinking wether or not I should post this part, but I think I should, please dont get mad at me or anything, this part I think was my imagination and longing to go home doing this to me, actually, if you want to hear that part, ask me, and I'll type it. Latley I had been telling myself I would pray even at school before I eat, I was just worried about if the teachers saw me I could get in serious trouble. When we finally got to the fair, were walking to find some food, and this, ( not being racist, just describing, ) chineese looking woman comes up to me and my cousins and hands us this small paper type book. It's cover says stuff about a treasure hunt. Then she says, " God and Jesus Love you, and aslong as you thank them everyday they will never leave you." and some more, but my memorey is strangley foggy at that moment when she was preaching. I almost cried, I smiled and felt like hugging this small woman. Looking back, I wish I had. She approaches my grandma next, first off by saying, " Oh! God Bless you, I've got another one for you!" But, my grandma says she'll look off ours...Please pray for her..I'm afriad shes losing her faith and love in God...So we keep going, I wish I would've looked back, but, I didnt, I belive she was an angel. God was showing me not to be afraid to show my Love for Him anywhere, even in school. I am now praying before everything I eat, and when I want too. I also, never saw any of those books or saw her agian. P.S. The angel part was real, I was only imagining wether or not she was an angel.

aslong as you thank them everyday they will never leave you."

I don't believe that is biblical.

Is she trying to mix in some truth or maybe she is confused?

Not by our works, lest any of us should boast.

Thanking them = works IMHO.

I, too, am concerned about that statement, and am glad your memory got foggy at that point!:) However, God did use this encounter to help you to be bolder in your public witness of who you are as a believer in Christ, and that is something to thank God for!

" God and Jesus Love you, and aslong as you thank them everyday they will never leave you."

This is very unscriptural.

Upon our repenting and asking Jesus to be our Lord and Savior, He sends us His Holy Spirit who dwells within us.

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise.Eph. 1:30

And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption Eph. 4:30

There is nothing that separates us ( believers) from Jesus.

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.Roms. 8:39
