Starting [the week of September 10], British Columbia introduced its grade 12 "Social Justice" elective course that will see homosexuality promoted in BC schools as an "alternate lifestyle" equivalent to natural marriage. The course is only the first part of a larger K-12 curriculum resulting from a Human Rights complaint settlement by the government with a pair of homosexual activists.
This is very close to home isn't it? :shocked My jaw dropped when I saw the homosexual couple who had filed suit were allowed to develop the curriculum for the whole provence. They will be allowed to develop a unit on extremism and fundamentalism as well. Any guesses on what they are going to have children taught about Bible believing Christians? Can Christians file suit and develop the curriculum on science? Abortion?
Please keep this friendly. :wave

Leviticus 18:22
Thou shall not lie with mankind, as with womenkind: it is an abonination. Rom: 1:27,28
Again God stated it plain...this is one of God's forbidden sexual pratices. This LAW by God is above ANY law that man can pass.

This just gets more and more extreme. I would guess one would fail the class if they stood up and spoke out against such abomination not to mention possibly charged with hate speech.

They absolutely want your kids! If they can't turn their innocent heads towards being a homosexual then they want you to be indifferent to it and see it as normal.
This is where Chriistians, real Christians should fight for the microphone. Satan has the microphone now. The Christian community has allowed confusion, and lies to make this acceptable if not embracable. Often people want to believe that "they were born that way." They weren't. Humanistic teachings kick in and some don't want to condem it or reach out to those who are miserable with that lifestyle choice. BTW, it should be clear that age is not a barrier ... they even have kids in preschool labeled as homosexuals - that's not the norm yet but with no or little objection that will be the norm to teach that stuff and encourage it.
I'm not a homosexual yet I know this is a great organization for homosexuals to heal. It's Bible based and people have been in their shoes. It's difficult ... but many are successful when HIS WILL finally trumps their will. Isn't that true of any sinner - let HIS will prevail?

Is it just me, or is it that society today no longer wants tolerance for these people, but instead a first-class status for minorities?
Think about it. In that article, they themselves called it "an alternative lifestyle" (whatever PC crap that is). But yet, this is almost an attempt to make the so-called "alternative lifestyle" to be the norm and the norm the "alternative". You get married in a heterosexual relationship now, and its almost just mundane and boring. But, however, if you are gay then you are special.
I try to reason it out as a human being and I cannot find any logic that calls for making society/mankind kill itself by committing suicide (i.e. no more children because heterosexual relationships aren't normal). Man is so far off the radar now, that he/we think we can fix all things by "tolerance" --read: acceptance/becoming that thing yourself--. The world really does think it can fix itself...and it sad to think that we are the "extremists", yet we know Who can fix mankind. If it is "extreme" to fix mankind (knowing all the bad connotation with which the world now views that word), then, consider me "extreme".
But then again, "As it was in the days of Lot"...

Many people don't get it. They don't pay much attention to the news. They may not have kids. They don't SEE, by choice, what is going on! They're stuck in "let's be tolerant mode". It's no longer a matter of tolerance. It's coerced acceptance - regardless of YOUR beliefs and values.
It's like other sins ... totally misguided "compassion". This needs to be comdemed inno uncertain terms and an alternative to a happy healthy life - through Christ - with Christian compassion and grace. I have no doubt there are many a miserable homosexual out there ... Rosie ... who've been ABUSED, physically and emotionally ... that turned to this lifestyle choice, and have no peace in their soul. While you may not get through to Rosie ... there are others seeking peace in their soul - this is where Christians need to offer a hand ... don't shun them ...let it be known it's wrong but offer to hook them up with Exodus International or perhaps have an out reach in the church.
It's time for Christians to atleast try to save them through Christ. Too many times the "church" has its nose up in the air and reinforces the negative, "judgmental" sterotype ... it's a fine line - rejecting the choice and helping them over come this choice that is destroying them. Even if we are raptured tomorrow, it doesn't mean that TODAY we don't try to imitate Christ. People need Christ, more than ever today - and that includes former homosexuals.
Perhaps your gift is not evangelizing ... then PRAY for them to turn around - it costs you nothing but your time. Give these folks and others reason to want to know Christ thorugh YOUR EXAMPLE.
While we can not earn eternal life, we can strive to do His will as best we can:
James 5:19-20
[19] Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
[20] Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

Amen to that post Felix! :thumb
We should always be willing to speak the truth with love. We also need to try to prevent our children from being deceived into falling into this lifestyle that will ultimately cause them so much sorrow. That means teaching them the truth about homosexuality and its consequences, and also teaching them to hate the sin, but not the sinner. Unfortunately laws are being made that seek to prevent us from teaching the truth to our own children. In this case we will have to follow a higher law.
