as someone who lives in Omaha, this story is being heavily talked about and many people who have become fed up with Chambers antics think he is doing this for attention.
We should pray for Ernie BTW.
John 3:16-17
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Final court date will be held at the Great White Throne.
To change this appointment, a new date can be set at the Bema seat.

Ernie has been in the Nebraska Unicameral for a very long time. His position has always been Godless.
I always find it interesting over the past few years how he has been volunteering at the Open Door Mission helping in the food line during Thanksgiving. I was always hoping the Holy Spirit might grab him and make a change.

Did anyone notice that MSNBC blatantly left out his party affiliation? If Mr. Chambers had been a Republican it would have been posted as every other word. This man, Democrat or Republican, has lost his mind!

One hundered-fifty years ago, this would have been unheard of; nobody would have had the umitigated gall to pull such a stunt.
Amazing, the unrestrained ego of man.
Amazing ego alright, but also total stupidity of the judge allowing this to go to court. He should be fired just for considering this.

This has got to be a jerk. How does he expect to win, for one? And, just for conversations sake, WHO would pay him the damages IF he did??:hehee

Suing the One that can stop your heart beating at any moment, doesn't seem like a real bright move.

SisterNChrist Does anyone recall that Touched By An Angel episode, for which this town's citizens put the Holy Spirit on trial? God won the case, thanks to the aid of His star angels - particularly Monica (Roma Downey).
I remember that episode.

I was just thinking the same thing and had to laugh.
