As America continues turning her back on God, God allows well deserved judgments on America. It saddens me nearly to tears thinking of how we have shoved God away as a nation after He has been so incredibly good and generous to us. This administration in particular with the its secular and globalistic world view and evil & wicked czars is pushing America faster and faster to the brink of God's ultimate judgement, which I believe begins when the church is raptured. Then will God give evil mankind what they so desperately want and demand...and will suffer horribly for it.

Hi RR,

Wondering... we are told that God is not judging America and we are not to state that he is-- or by way of examples like Hurricane Katrina or 9/11. But my question is; How do we know God is not judging America? And how would we know if he was? Any scripture would be great!

Thanks All and God Bless! :hug

Note: We cannot discuss specifically that he is per rules. I just want to know how do we know if he is or is not.

God is judging America, but not outside His line of grace and perseverance.
His current judgment is withdrawal, not like the interactive interventions as seen in Exodus or Revelation
this country's lack of wisdom and discernment is also God's judgment

Wait until after the rapture to see what OT judgment style really looks like.

9/11 was a Muslim judgment, did God use it? :idunno

:sad Also reminds me a little of Samuel and King Saul ...

Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah, And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD. And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.
1 Samuel 8:4-7 (KJV)

While Saul was still king, there were many who followed after David.

After reading threads here for the past several weeks and putting together a "big picture" in my mind, I have a question.

Has there ever been a time in history when there was so much "madness" controling the world?

Consider Obama, Ahmadinijad & Khamenei, Kim-Jong, Gaddafi, Castro, Putin, Chavez, Erdogan, Hariri, Abbas - have I missed any? - these men are either mad or evil, or a combination of both.

Through the ages we've had Hitler, Napoleon, Nero.. men who were mad and after causing much destruction, were doomed to destruction. But they seemed to stand out amongst the others of their era as the "one", not one of the "many". Today, men like Obama, are just "one of many"!!

Is this truly remarkable that we have so many world leaders who are mad/insane/evil at the same time, exerting so much influence simultaneously, as we have now?

Also considering the madness and lack of morals of local governments.... allowing gay marriage, the mosque in New York, Judges freeing criminals, the result is our society is degenerating fast.

Have we ever seen this before, down through history? :scratch

I also have wondered, even posting a thread about this some time back, whether madness is a precursor to judgement? Could it be equated with being turned over to a reprobate mind? Remember the episode of Nebuchadnezzar's insanity. In America alone it seems as though we, as a whole, are gravitating towards the polar opposite of sensibility and righteousness, choosing rather the most ridiculous courses to pursue. For instance, we do not defend our borders, knowing full well the drug cartels as well as islamic sypathizers are coming across in droves, we accept homosexual everything regardless of the fact that all of the evidence points to it's negative impact on society, let alone the spiritual condemnation of the lifestyle. We are spending money that will not have any value whatsoever by the time it is printed...it's like we are in self destruct mode.

To reply to your question, in my opinion, madness is the result of the beginning of God withdrawing His hand...

I was born at the end of 1960, so I vividly remember the late 1960s and the 70s as being much more turbulent times than the 80s and 90s. However, since the beginning of the 21st century, I have never seen times as turbulent as what we are currently experiencing. Honestly, with each passing day things seem to be getting worse and worse. And people - :doh People believe and publicly adhere to the most insane things now that 20 or 30 years ago they'd probably have been institutionalized for saying out loud. I can unabashedly say that in my almost 50 years of life, these days we're currently living in are far more "mad" than anything I've ever experienced before.
