I was wondering about the judgment of the USofA just this morning (because I'm reading a book on the subject). I was pondering whether God will show His judgmental wrath upon America specifically before the tribulation, or if the tribulation will be God's judgment upon this generation of the world's citizens.

The entire world has become a cesspool of despicable evil is what I'm thinking... time is very ripe for the tribulation as described in the bible. Wrath that includes the entire world...

It is hard to imagine what all will happen before the 7 year tribulation begins. Those tribulation years are well scripted and the church will be out of this world by then. One thing is for sure, the USofA has reached a level of filthiness, along with the rest of the world, that has often resulted in the wrath of God being exercised, and God Himself must already be holding back His wrath from us.

Look at Israel. Isn't it the nation God chose to be His Light on the Hill for Him?

Then when Israel viewed and saw all these miracles and given the Law,

God said they sinned sinned worse than the surrounding nations

who were sinful themselves. God harshly punished them for it.

This nation knew God very well at the onset.

Up to about the 1960's I guess (IMHO) people were at church on Sunday,

and most knew the Bible now we as a nation I feel is sinning worse

than many of the nations that don't know God. And it stands to reason. Why???????

Because Satan targets a nation like ours and

they wind up being worse than the non-Biblical nations IMHO

My petition to God is that He will evacuate us in the Rapture first. Otherwise, we will be caught in the crossfire of His judgment, which will be catastrophic and nationwide.

me too on this one, but we are not under Judgment as Christians

because our sins are hidden in Christ, and God only sees Christ's

Righteousness when He looks at us.

Also thinking on this if judgment comes and were here, I don't think we will be under

the thumb of it, we will probably be spared, like Israel's righteous were in times of

judgment.

I highly believe in a statement made one time by Billy Graham:

"If God does not judge America for the horrible sins it has committed, then God will need to apologize to sodom and gomora"(sp)!!

It is very hard to imagine the sins back in that time being worse than they are today! IMHO :idunno

Some people say - how can God allow all these things?
I do see God allowing things to get out of hand, not because he doesnt care, but because he DOES care - about our salvation, not about our comfort.

When things are uncertain and people feel that they are no longer in control they FINALLY look to God for answers.
My own church is having to add another service because we are litterally turning people away at 11 o'clock because there is no more chairs. We have an overflow room that some go to with a tv set of the service going on in it. So we are going to add another service on Sundays..

But while they were sitting in thier pools, sipping on a cool one, and everything was hunky-dory did they think of God then? noooo.........they were thinking about where to go on their next vacation from thier home equity loan. Sorry for sounding snarky but I see many of these people mocking God and then running to Him when times get bad. So, since God is a merciful God, He allows things to get shaken - C.S.Lewis wrote "Pain is God's megaphone to rouse a deaf world"

Sometimes the only thing that will get people to look up is a good "shaking". And that is a good thing, if they TRUELY turn to God and not just turn to Him until things get 'better' and then forget about Him again, like the Israelites did........

Actually God says this about why He judged Sodom:

Ezekiel 16: 49 " 'Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. 50 They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.

They were Prideful, overfed and didnt care about the poor......:did detestable things....sounds like America to me! thinking

I have been thinking about that too, Tall Timbers. :hat

I feel like with everything going on, God is flashing a big huge neon lighted sign in the sky saying, "Last Call"......if he is about to judge this nation, I tell ya, he is sending very bright and clear signs to come now before it's too late.
