A recent Sesame Street episode had them just changing them just being turned into money (Shhhh, don't let our government get any ideas from that :hehee) I had never had that idea before, somehow I imagined when little that used them for something; I don't think I knew right away my mom was replacing them with money. (And if you did, sorry, you don't any options - besides, it's not like this is a serious poll.:heh)
Not that ai recall what I thought happened - to our family Santa was more an idea than someone real, though my mom would talk about hiow it was "fun to play." We all "played Santa" whenever we gave gifts, etc.
But, that's getting off track. If I'd been asked to imagine what the tooth fairy did with them, I can see myself saying "builds houses" because - like my "Yes Night Hall" with dreams - I had this image of an imaginary land, and I can see myself figuring that the tooth fairy used them for something in that land.
Of course, I almost voted for the socks just o be silly - we always *think* it's one that we already had that we lost one of, but it's not like there's that many that would be turned into socks.
