I have been a lurker for a while now and have read the boards almost every night for about 2 years now. This board along with the witness of a good friend and mentor has helped bring me back to the Lord. I never really believed the bible much growing up, it had always seemed like mans way of explaining why we are here. But reading this board along with the bible has helped me to open my eyes and see the truth. I hope together we can help each other grow in our faith.

Sure, I am welder in the eastern us, and married to a wonderful woman. I am somewhat shy on net as I think too much about what to say (writers block), so try to bear with me on short posts. :lol2

Scout, :heythere
Welcome to RR! The archealogical, geographical, historical and geological fields have proven the Bible's authenticity time and again. This is such a blessing as our Father reveals Himself to the skeptic! In fact, it seems each time they overturn a shovel of soil in the middle east another fact of scripture is proven accurate. It is just another display of the love of God for mankind as these proves are not necessary for the brethren, for we walk by faith not sight, but for the scoffers.
Praise God that He has wooed you back into fellowship and is revealing the scriptures to you through the Holy Spirit. As years pass it seems I can read and reread the same passages and yet always glean new wisdom. Our God is an awesome God! Look forward to 'chatting' with you.
Shalom in Christ
