My daughters have just started going to a homeschool academy one day a week, which includes a Spanish class. My 4th grader is behind as we haven't worked on Spanish really except via "Dora the Explorer" and "Sesame Street." :lol2
Does anyone know of any good websites where she could watch videos or atleast hear pronunciations? (For free?)

Go to your Library and ask if they have Rosetta Stone Spanish available for checkout, or for use on the computer. It's about $300 is you want to buy it, but some libraries have them for use. I'll include a link to their Rosetta Stone's website so you can see what it is. It's just FYI, but your library or one in your area may have their program for use for FREE.

I've looked at Rosetta Stone before, but never wanted to cough up the money because it's so expensive! But it sounds like a great system. Have you tried it? I will check out the library...I don't utilize the library nearly enough for a being a homeschooler.

It's excellent! My highschooler uses their Spanish program. It's very good, and when she went on the highschool mission trip with our church, she was actually able to utilize some of what she had learned.
It is a bit pricey, but it's a good investment. I bought the homeschool version from a dealer on e-bay, and only paid about $200. That's a bargain.

Is Rosetta Stone really good NewWorldorder? One of the kids in my church tried it and said she found it confusing. This girl went back to public school this year and was put in 2nd year Spanish and had no clue what was going on. (Incidentially, she lasted only a week and went back to homeschooling.)
I was all ready to purchase the Rosetta Stone curriculm too since I was looking for something for my kids. I also found Auralog Spanish TeLL me More. Anyone know about this curriculm?
