I have a new laptop with Vista, and Office 2007 software. I have a problem in that if I send a Word attachment to someone with an earlier version, they can't read it. Does anyone know how to get around this problem? TIA

you should be able to do a "save as", and specify in the drop-down that you want to save it as an older-style doc
