What can you all tell me about her history books. I don't care for the science ones because of the evolution slant, but a lot of American History programs use her books. I was just wondering how Christ friendly she is.
Thanks

I used her books about 5 years ago. I bought the complete set, because everyone I talked to really liked them, but we didn't get very far. They're good if you like textbook type materials. Also, the first book starts with "pre-history", or the prehistoric era. They aren't Christian books, so don't expect to get a Christian world view out of them, but they are balanced. I think you can get them at Barnes and Noble. Try looking at some of them and see what you think. If you decide to try them, I would try to find them used. I posted some links in the sticky for used homeschool curriculum resources.

Thanks NWO... I have the Peter Marshall books and I plan to use those. I also have Story of the World. STOW isn't Christian either so I may just use that. I like the way it is written. The Peter Marshall books will add the Christian balance that we need.
I don't really want textbookish things. I like the style of the PM books and STOW.

We skipped the first book and now I am reading aloud the second book to my 7th and 4 graders. I borrowed them from our local public library.
