I came to church this morning...

I came to church this morning feeling nothing new
sat down in the wooden pew where I usually do
I sang the songs of worship and I listened to the sermon too
but what happened next I didn't expect, I felt the spirit move
and he said

(chorus)
Get up off of your seat and stand upon your feet
go and tell the world the word that you just heard

Go and tell the world that Jesus is soon to return.

I came to church this morning feeling so renewed
you can have the spirit live within you too
confess your sins to Jesus and turn from your old ways
and what happens next, you can expect..you'll hear the spirit say
and he'll say,
