Sunday is decoration where Ryan is buried.I am going this afternoon to get flowers.Strange that one wonders"what kind of flowers would be appropriate for a teenage boy?
Ryan got a video cam back in 2004 for Christmas. He carried that around almost constantly,or until the new wore off.He liked to video himself alot. You know 15 year old and some of it is very comical.
He's singing, dancing, playing with his dog.Last tape he filmed must have been Dec.2005,unless I find another. He never transferred them from the video cam cass.
To watch Ryan dancing, singing and one part is him and his younger brother wrestling.Cody was always quiet a bit smaller then Ryan and could never get the best of him in a wrestling match.Cody would get mad,so in this video,Ryan is sitting on Cody and singing and Cody is pinned underneath Ryan yelling for Ryan to get off.
I know Ryan's gone but how does one make themselves believe it,especially after watching a video of him so full of life and watching it,I think Ryan is dead but the boy in the video is so familiar and so alive,I think about where his body is and life is not reality anymore. It would be easier to pretend that Ryan is still in rehab and not really dead.
The Rapture is one day closer!
:hug:hug:hug
I understand. I went to put flowers on Mario's resting place last week for his birthday. I was in the store just standing in front of the flowers thinking, am I really doing this? what do I get? I went to the cemetery, placed my plant/flower and just sat there for awhile and sang Happy Birthday to him. I wanted to go alone, which I did. I wanted privacy. I just sat there talked to Jesus and Mario thanking Jesus for where he was, telling him how much I missed him but that I know I'll be seeing him again. It was all so sureal. Singing Happy Birthday to my son in a cemetery. It wasn't making any sense. I then fell to my knees and cried out to Jesus with everything I had. I then went to visit my mom who's in the same cemetery and told her I loved and missed her and to take care of my baby. I drove away with such a sense of release. Jesus heard my cry and his peace came over me and then I was able to go home and celebrate my son's life with some of his friends.
I commend you for being able to watch videos. I'm still having a hard time with still pictures. I know it must be bittersweet to see Ryan so happy and so alive but ya know what he really is!!! in Heaven and you will see him again sweetie.
Watch this video. It's brand new from Perry Stone. It's the start of a series he's doing. It's amazing. Watch it till the end. It will bless you. It will lift you up. I found it so comforting and beautiful. Ryan is VERY MUCH ALIVE. This body is merely a tent. A shell. Our soul and spirit are with the Lord when we shed this tent. Absent from the body, PRESENT WITH THE LORD!! I'm anxious to hear your reaction to this video. God's timing is perfect!!! :pray:pray:pray

Thats the thing that gets me. Watching them so full of life on videos. Unbelievable. All we can do now is remember that they are full of life now where they are... more life than we can imagine. Its just that we can't see them.
Come soon Jesus. :hug :hug
:hug:hug:hug Amen!!
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. We can't "see" our boys but they ARE very much alive!! They are
SAFE IN THE ARMS OF JESUS and we WILL be seeing them again, never, ever to be separated, ever again. :yeah:yeah We will be with them for ETERNITY!!!
Watch this. It gave me chills.

I know this is not scriptural truth, but found this poem a long time ago to be very comforting during a time of loss, thought I would share, I want to weep with you sisters, I am so sorry for your losses. It was written by an unknown author:
My Dearest Family
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say,
First of all to let you know that I arrived okay.
I am writing this from Heaven where I dwell with God above,
Where there's no more tears or sadness, there is just eternal love.
Please don't be unhappy just because I'm out of sight,
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you, when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said "I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone,
As for your dearest family, they will be here later on.
I need you here so badly as part of my big plan.
There's so much that we have to do to help our mortal man."
Then God gave me a list of things he wished for me to do,
And most on that list of mine is to watch and care for you.
And I will be beside you every day and week and year,
And when you're sad, I am standing there to wipe away the tears.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth and all those loving years,
Because you're only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
Please do not be afraid to cry, it does relieve the pain,
Remember there would be no flowers unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you of all that God has planned,
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is over;
I am closer to you now than I ever was before.
And to my very many friends, trust God knows what's best,
I'm still not far away from you, I am just beyond the crest.
There are rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb,
But together we can do it taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you, too,
That as you give unto the world, so the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow or in pain,
Then you can say to God at night, "My day was not in vain.
And now I am contented that my life was worth the while,
Knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile."
So if you meet somebody who is down and feeling low,
Just lend a hand to pick him up as on your way you go.
And when you’re walking down the street and you've got me on your mind,
I’m walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when you feel that gentle breeze or the wind upon your face,
That's me giving you a hug or just a soft embrace.
And when it's time for you to go from that body to be free,
Remember you’re not going, you are coming here to me.
And I will always love you from that land way up above,
We'll be in touch again soon,
P.S. God sends His love.

It's brand new. It just aired last week. I know he has another one with his father on Heaven. This is different. It's a series on Life After Death. Accounts of people who have gone to heaven, came back and describe what they saw. I believe there are four or five shows. I taped the second one but haven't watched it yet. All I can say is..... WOW!!!

Oh, ok I knew I had seen something else with his dad. The other night I was watching when he had the black preacher who went to heaven (Earthquake) was his nickname). I love his story of seeing his child who was murdered.

Thank you Faith,I love to hear these stories. When I get down into my misery,I watch,or hear these testimonies and I think wow,Ryan's waiting on me.Wonder if they know when that time is?
Back in 2001 I went to Kentucky to a camp meeting at an orphanage,Tommy Bates can really sing and play the piano. He gave this same testimony at the camp meeting. There is a song he sung"I wonder what they're doing in Heaven?I had the C.D but either I loaned it or lost it.Wished I could find that song,It's beautiful, the song!
