One Night with the King is based on a novel written by Tommy Tenney. It's a great novel, and it's based on the Book of Esther. I've read that novel, and I love it.

That is my absolute favorite actor who has portrayed Jesus. Love it!!
I agree Jayna. He portrays Jesus in, The Gospel of John

Henry Ian Cusick did such a great job of portraying the role, didn't he? I love his performance.

Such a beautiful portrayal of Jesus. I wonder how taking on such roles change these actors lives. The guy from The Passion for instance. How could it not have a deep inpact.
There was a program on TCT or some Christian channel called, Miracles of The Passion. Stories of how seeing the movie touched peoples lives. Changed peoples lives. Have you seen it?

Pretty amazing, huh. When they show the people inside the movie theatre watching the movie, some crying, some turning away, covering their faces, some walking out. Very powerful.
I have not seen The Passion yet. I'm probably the only one who hasn't. :rolleyes
I guess I'm not ready emotionally. I do plan on viewing it as some point. I have seen several clips from the movie in Christian music video's, tears streaming down my face.
My BIL got saved after his wife took him to see The Passion. I know it's very graphic, and hits home for what Jesus truly did for us. Other movies about Jesus, such as Jesus Of Nazareth (good movie) but doesn't come close to what Jesus really went through, like The Passion, which is why I think it had such an effect on people. The graphic nature, is the true nature of all He went through for us.
I have The Gospel Of John on my DVR. Love it!!

Prayers needed. :pray:pray:pray
Mario's headstone came in this week. They are ready to blast the etching into the stone.
The cemetery hasn't poured the foundation yet,they eed 4 to pour. (even though the plot was paid in full back in September) the stone will have to sit completed in the store until Spring. Please pray in agreement with me that somehow,someway Jesus will make a way for that one needed pour so we can have the stone placed soon.
I also need prayer for my husbands heart. I told him I waanted to have the scripture, John 11:25 etched into the stone (the stoneplace said they can do this) his reply was, what if I don't want a scripture. My heart sank in my chest. Why would he not want a scripture? I think he's holding alot inside,even though he gave his heart to Jesus the morning of Mario's funeral. This is a family stone with his and my names on as well. That scripture is the reason we have LIFE, it's very important to me that this be on the stone.
I also want everyone who see's the stone,to see those words.Jesus said to her " I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies"
So I'm hurt and sad at the moment but Im believing in Faith God will make a way for this to be completed before Mario's second Anniversary date of Dec 22. Thank you, sisters. :hug:hug:hug

:pray ing for all the things to go well so the stone can be put in place. Such a difficult time I know. I'm so sorry hubby had that reponse. Its a wonderful verse and one all of us who have lost children take to heart.
There is not a verse on Jason's stone because his wife at the time took care of all that and her heart wasn't and still isn't there.
Wish we didn't have to go through this at all sis!! But you definitely will be in my prayers.
