For My Good

” Your Father loves you. Everything He allows is for your growth and good. He sees the long picture, even when you can’t. I wonder how I make God’s heart sad when I don’t understand that He lovingly draws near to me even in times of learning (See Psalm 34:18).

I needed it too!!

Talking about Him seeing the big picture. My sister was questioning God the other day about why he would take Jason and leave his two precious twins behind to grieve, she was saying she just didn't understand. (Which we all can relate to). She got an answer though...."If you only knew". Thats all she got but we can all agree if we could see the big picture... if we only knew... we might be able to travel this long road alot easier. :hug

We'll never "understand" this side of Heaven (that's where we have to trust God's heart) BUT the second we are called HOME, all the "why's" will be GONE!! instantly. When we see the Glory of God, when we see Jesus face to face and the BEAUTY of Heaven, none of what were going through now will exist. We will be with Jesus and our children for Eternity :yeah:yeah:yeah

Now I see in a mirror dimly, then I will see Him face to face. What's that scripture?

If we only knew, what God knows.....
I guess then we wouldn't have to depend on Him and our Faith and that's what He uses to shape and mold us into Christ's image. Refined in the fire, we will come forth as pure gold.

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away and no one understands, that the righteous are taken away to be spared from the evil to come.
He shall enter into peace and rest. Isaiah 57:1,2

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. Genesis 50:20

God works ALL things together for our good. We can say "I went through what you went through and this is what God want's you to know" (our test becomes a testimony)

Out of our mess, comes a message. A message of Hope and Faith in Jesus, by His strength and His Grace we can make it through this storm. :hug:hug:hug

Amen!!!!

Had a good night last night. I had to pick up Jason's boys from school and I took them to eat Chinese food later (their favorite). Somehow the subject came up of seeing their father again. They both went on and on about what they were going to do when they saw their dad again. It was exciting to talk about our coming reunion and was so glad to hear them talk about their dreams of seeing their dad again. Praise God!!

Amen!! I have always believed that the first verse posted is the reason Jason was taken home. Something was coming up the road that would have been devestating to him.

I feel the same Jayna. God sees the bigger picture. I hadn't even known of that verse until very recently. It brings me comfort, in a way only we here could understand.
