My MIL mentioned something about wondering what my FIL would be doing in heaven during Christmas. I mentioned that to someone who said something along the lines of there probably not being those types of holidays in heaven. Do you think we will have days to celebrate?

I do. I'm sure it won't be the way we celebrate here but I believe we will be celebrating all kinds of things in heaven. I can definitely imagine celebrating Jesus' birth for eternity.
They celebrate right now when someone on earth is saved (wheres that verse?:scratch ) so I can't help but believe they celebrate things we can only imagine here.

Sure wish I was there.

Thus you're FORCED to admit that we CAN lose our salvation.

By the way, if all babies (or children) are saved, wouldn't it be wise to kill every fetus so that NO ONE loses his salvation? Or do you think it's better that a person go to hell? Remember, if all children go to heaven, wouldn't we be doing some of those children a favor by ending their lives before they lost their eternal life?

NOTE: I'm not suggeting I believe this; in fact I disagree with the initial comment that all children go to heaven.

So people who never sin in their lives don't achieve salvation?

I think babies do go to heaven and the fact they could go to heaven if they died doesn't mean you'll be doing them a favor by killing them. Because all devout parents would want them to live their life to the fullest.

I'm sure most of you believe that if you died, in 4 minutes, you'd go to heaven but surely that doesn't make you want to die in 4 minutes?

If we start taking advantage of almost a religious "loophole" then really, you're losing your own faith.

Amen!

Hey ya'll,

Regarding Ruth's missing son. They have found parts of a skeleton in the vicinity of where his truck was found after he went missing. Some teens 4 wheeler riding ran upon it. They've sent it to the crime lab but I'm sure its him. The paper says there is no evidence of foul play and appeared to be no trauma to the bones but they will wait on the crime lab for further info.

Ruth truly thought he would be back home someday. We've all lost children but I can't imagine the nightmares she's having knowing her son has been lying in the woods all this time. The paper called it 'gruesome remains'... can you imagine them talking about your child in that way.

Sad days for her.
