Life is so much more than what your eyes are seeing, you will find your way if you keep believing :hug

So fix your eyes not on the things that are seen but on the things that are unseen, for the things that are seen are temporary, the things that are unseen are Eternal ! Thank you, Jesus

Here's something I think all of us can relate to:

Listen, gentle people, and hear my truest needs. I hear you stumbling for words. Relax. There are no words... I hear you remembering a funny story about my loved one and looking embarrassed because you are laughing. Share with me. Let me laugh. It gives me something to hold on to in the middle of the night. Be your happy self... and let me be me. On days when I can laugh, I will. On days when I can speak of my loved one, I need you to share my memories. You don't have to give me answers, for I will learn to live without them. You don't have to pretend he never existed, thinking I will forget if you do. Let me speak his name, and you speak it, too. He is always there, that one I love so deeply, always part of who I am. If you take that from me, I will be less than who I am.

My beautiful 13 year old daughter Heather was killed in a car accident on 7/18 and I need prayer! I know without a doubt she is with Christ, I also know that God is at work in all of this and I am trusting Him and watching with much anticipation to see how He uses this event to further His Kingdom. I need prayer for direction of where to serve Him (either middle school or high school ministry, Heather was right in between these this summer), I need strength to get back into a routine, and I need to be able to sleep again without the help of a sleeping pill. I know we have some incredible prayer warriors on this board so I know I am coming to the right place. Also, if you could pray for my 17 year old son David and my husband Mike, we all need healing and restoration as a functioning family for Christ. Thank you and may God bless you all!

This is the first time I've been here in awhile, guess now I know why I got an urge to come back. I'm so sorry to here about your daughter (well glad she's in heaven with the rest of our kids but sorry for your loss). Its so new to you and I will pray for you and your family. You are right that God is at work in all of this we just don't understand his ways right now.
Prayers for strength and healing . (((((hugs)))))

Thank you Jayna. The peace of knowing she is with Christ is such a blessing, but the day to day without her is still surreal. I truly appreciate the prayer!

Surreal is right, even after 7 years I still can't believe it all happened. But time keeps passing and things keep changing and he's not here for any of it. I'm still asking how can this be.

I will keep praying for peace for you and your family. God Bless you.
