I'm hearing it a lot lately, of course, I'm only fifteen so I can't really say if it's more. I know I have two friends that I know of who were abused when they were younger (one's been adopted, the other one's father is no longer in the picture).

Babies just hold a special place in my heart- so small and innocent! It seems strange, but when I see a newborn I feel sad sometimes, because they are 100% dependent on someone, while the parent may not be 100% dedicated to raising that child.

Nothing grieves my heart more then hearing of babies and children being hurt (neglected, abused, molested, murdered)!!!
This type of story is becoming all too common.
Ther blood cries out, and our Lord too is grieved. HE will see that justice is served.
HOW can anyone harm a baby?!

That breaks my heart.... When I first read about it I thought is was a stranger. I didn't realize it was the baby's father.

There was yet another story on Fox about a newborn baby being found near a dog kennel. Over the past 2 weeks or so there have been 20+ children murdered. It's more than I can deal with. I don't like the news, it's too sad anymore. Children hold a special place in my heart as well and it is unspeakably painful to hear these things. More than likely I have the same age child that was murdered, abused or neglected so it really hits close. Anyway, just thought I'd chime in on this one.

you think this grieves your heart, what about Jesus's heart? I'm glad you're not here to see a grown man cry.:crying poor little guy.
Dear LORD, please take the little infant into your arms and love him dearly. he will be missed. In Jesus name, Amen.

...I just told my husband this week that it seems like the world is getting more evil, cruel and just plain mad. It is just totally rampant, and children cannot defend themselves. There is absolutely no value for human live, and I cry daily because of the news, and even told God, please, not for us, but for our babies, rapture us PLEASE!! i can't take it anymore, and my heart breaks even thinking there is children suffering while I am writing this! Please Lord, Come and save our little children!

I have noticed there are a lot of us who have children living in Heaven. I thought it might be nice to start a thread for our kids. I know it is the hardest thing I have ever lived through and I can't wait until I see that child again. I never tire of telling people about my child. My Sarah went to be with our Lord on 2/16/97 at the age of 16, she was murdered while at work.

Oh Nanny!:hug:hug It hurts so bad and time doesn't heal all wounds. We lost our Scoot May 1, 2006 to Hodgkin's Disease. He had just turned 29. He had fought a long hard battle for seven years and never gave up the fight. He was so brave and thoughtful throughout it all. Yes, we need to dedicate a thread to these much loved, much missed children of ours.:hug:hug
