I have often wondered this. I believe the two will be separated immediately as the Rapture happens. Just like if a woman is pregnant, but isn't saved, I believe the baby will be caught up to Jesus, and the woman will be left with an empty wound. Not sure, though.
After reading this now I'm left with an image of the movie alien. :lol2 The raptured baby bursting out and heading towards Heaven.

What I've often wondered is if there will be actual babies in heaven, or will they turn into adults when we all get our glorified bodies, etc.? This brings in another whole set of questions, like if they stayed babies, would we, who are in heaven with them take care of them, would God take care of them, would they even need to be taken care of like human babies.

LOL! It does paint a lovely picture, doesn't it? I could have corrected my typo, but I figured I would leave it for others to have a good laugh lol.

When I was pregnant with my daughter (About 3 days before her birth), I was almost in a vehicle accident. (If God did not protect us, it WOULD have been fatal). In those seconds, I had the clearest thought. It was so amazing, I thought of my little boy at school, when my husband would find out of our accident, and how he would never know his daughter. But what totally stood out was that I knew that I knew Jenique and I would be with Jesus, and I knew she would be an adult. Not part of me anymore!
God AMAZINGLY protected us that day – Praise my Lord and Saviour.

I haven't finished reading all the posts but I want to add my Katie in here. She passed on Friday night March 2nd 2007. Much missed. Instead of writing right now, I will just post a link. Hope it works. It puts it in a nutshell. Sometimes you just need to share when people get tired of listening to you go on and on. Just need a shoulder to lean on today.

:hug Thank you for sharing with us. Forgiveness follows repentance. God is righteous to forgive us our sins, so how can we then not forgive those who sin against us if they too are repentant. Thinking of you and praying for you.

I found this one day, boy does it look like my katie when she was little (but it's not her). I love the princess shirt and Psalm 23 is on my Katie's prayer card. It is very precious to me. I love her last line and the giggle.

I think we'll be at the "perfect" age...perhaps the apparent age Adam would have been when created?

I expect we will have very special bodies similar yet not fully comprehendable.
My thought is that people will see us not just as they remember us (parent sees child) (grandchild sees grandparent) but will see us as we are in God's eyes. Complete. Some might worry about recognition, but we will have new perceptions and understandings.
I'm am so excited! Waiting for the fire that purifies, the ultimate healing, and living the life God intended. With Jesus.
Mickey, PTL for His Grace Mercy to you.
My DW and 1st DD went through the same thing. Thank You Lord everyone walked away. DW and older DS were hit years later. DS just happened( sure)to be sitting in a different spot of van (middle) than his normal back seat. That saved him much injury as van was hit in rear quarter. Again Thank you Jesus for Your Grace and Mercy.

I've also wondered why God would create or allow people to live who He could foresee would never believe? He would know that all the preaching in the world would not convince them to believe, because He could foresee their end - so why did he create them?
God knows all and He knows that every person has an impact upon another person in some way, shape, or form. That said, every person "believer" or "unbeliever" has some role in God's plan. Praise God that He is God and we are not!:pray:pray:pray
Sing4Him ?? ... I'm wondering if I can get your input on the above quote, if you don't mind.
I had a friend who was convinced that her daughter was preordained to die and go to hell. That's not true, is it? I don't believe in it, anyway. I thought that was why he gave us "free will". To make a choice. Does He know what we will do? I know scripture states that the "very hair on your head is counted" ... which I understand to mean that God knows the precise minute at which we will die. But does He know whether or not a person will accept eternal life through Christ, His Son? And I don't mean to imply that He is fallible by not knowing our eternal destiny... I simply ask do you think we do have the free will to make that choice?
As a mother of two girls, 12 and 7 years of age, I am constantly concerned about their salvation. Upon her request, I've prayed the sinners prayer with my eldest daughter and I believe she is born again...but it doesn't stop me from being concerned for her. I still have to ensure she is raised up to worship God publicly and not be ashamed of her beliefs. She has a powerful sense of right and wrong that I do not think I beheld at her age and sometimes I think it is her teaching me instead of the other way around. But, still, I stay concerned. What mother wouldn't?
So, if you will, in your free time and as God lays it upon your heart... share this discussion with me by providing your opinion.
Thank you...
maggie
