This is from a book I'm reading.....
Since our Lord loves us so much, what kind of place can we expect him to have prepared for us? It will simply be the best place ever made by anyone for anyone. Why will Heaven be so beautiful and wonderful? Because the One who's prepared it for us is so skillfull and creative. (Jesus was a carpenter after all). He knows how to build.
I imagine our first glimpse of Heaven will cause us to gasp in amazement and delight. That first gasp is likely to be followed by many more as we continually encounter new sights in that endlessly wonderful place.

We are strangers in a foreign country called earth. We live in tents, feeble temporary dwellings, but we're headed toward glorious permanence.
We live on shifting sand but we look forward every day to the city with foundations- the city that will never fall; the city who's builder and maker is none other than our bridegroom...the Carpenter from Nazareth.

"The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is it's lamp"

Home, Jesus knew, is where you're with the people you love the most in a place you love the most.
Home as a term for Heaven is not simply a metaphor. It describes an actual, physical place- a place built by our bridegroom. A place we'll share with loved ones, a place of fond familiarity and a comfort and refuge, a place of marvelous smells and tastes, fine food and great conversation, of contemplation and interaction and expressing the gifts and passions God has given us. It will also be a place of unprecedented freedom and adventure.

"We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.
For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal"

For All Of Us :ghug Max Lucado's, HOPE

No struggle will come your way apart from God's purpose, presence, and permission.

Want to worrry less? Then pray more. Rather than look forward in fear, look upward in faith.

Faith means being sure of the things we hope for and knowing that something is real even if we don't see it.

Your prayers are honored as precious jewels.
Your words do not stop until they reach the very throne of God.

Our awareness of God's presence may falter, but the reality of His
presence never changes.

God's blessings are dispensed according to the riches of His grace, not according to the depth of our faith.

Someday God will wipe away your tears.
The hands that stretched the heavens will touch your cheeks.
The hands that curled in agony as the Roman spike cut through,
will someday cup your face and brush away your tears, Forever

God never said that the journey would be easy, but he did say that the arrival would be worthwhile.

With God there are no accidents.
Every incident is intended to bring us closer to Him.

God is not the God of confusion, and wherever He sees sincere seekers with confused hearts, you can bet your sweet December He will do whatever it takes to help them see His will.

If you have a Shepherd, you have grace for every sin, direction for every turn, a candle for every corner, and an anchor for every storm. You have everything you need.

God's hope pours into your world.
Upon the sick, He shines the ray of healing.
To the bereaved, He gives the promise of reunion.
To the confused, He offers the light of Scripture.

Psalm 37:5

Depend On the Lord; Trust Him, and He will take care of you.

Phillipians 4:6-7

Let your requests be made known to God;
and the peace of God, which surpasses all undrstanding,
will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 42:16 Are path may be different but He will guide us.
"I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them" (Is

Hebrews 4:16

Let Us Come Boldly To The Very Throne of God And Stay There To Recieve His Mercy And To Find Grace To Help Us In Our Times Of Need.

So much of what you guys have written either doesn't answer my question or I don't understand... and Sing4Him said "off topic". I don't think I am. I worry about my children's salvation, how can that be off topic? I'm sorry if no one wants to address my question. All I asked was for some in-depth commentary. I had asked for help from Sing4Him because I enjoyed reading the lengthly post above. I'm definitely born again but do not attend church regularly. I love God and have studied the Bible nearly all my life... but studying it and understanding it are two different things.

I don't know. Maybe I'm a few cards short a whole deck when it comes to understanding all of this... that's why with my heart aching with concern I ask for someone opinion.
I'm sorry.

I believe children are born into Adam's sin but are protected under blood covenant.
Only God knows the age of a person's accountability and responsibility to sin.

As a Calvinist, I can point you to Scripture and show you where it supports the 5 points of the TULIP. Short of injuring the meaning of the text, however, I can not support the contention that there are elect and non-elect babies. Scripture doesn't say that. David didn't even hint at it with his statement either. God does not send people to Hell capriciously. He sends people to Hell because they don't want to be with Him. He elects in spite of our natural inclination against Him. He shows mercy to some, not because of our merit but because of His sovereign choice, and to others He lets them go their own way. Romans 9 explains the why, but this is strong meat for many.

Founders is normally very good. They are going further than Scripture in this point and it isn't good.

I've also wondered why God would create or allow people to live who He could foresee would never believe? He would know that all the preaching in the world would not convince them to believe, because He could foresee their end - so why did he create them?

Romans 9 tells us. He allows them to be born in order to teach US about mercy. Think about it, if you didn't see the depths of sin and the repercussions of rejecting God, would you have ever understood concepts such as holiness, justice, sinfulness, good, evil?

If you didn't see darkness, could you understand light? God needs to teach us things about Himself and ourselves, and the only way that He could do that, per Romans 9, is to allow some vessels fit for destruction to carry out their lives as they wished.

Hi,

I long to see the lord's appearing, with all my heart. However, I can't get past my intense fear of what will happen to my little girl who is 10 months old. I know that she will be raptured too.. I guess I have just been feeling very overwhelmed because, as a new parent, my desire to protect her and my love for her comes second to only God.

I wonder what will happen to my little girl during the rapture. Will she be separated from me in the Lord's presence? Will I still be her mother? I know that there is no marriage in heaven so how does that affect other family relationships?

Any insight would ease my burdened heart. thank you.

We are made with traits of God and feeling count too. I would like to think that we will be caught up together knowing friends & especially loved ones. I do think you will be together as I feel my folks, wife, will be very close to me post rapture. Its no exageration God is awesome & our blissful happiness will include our families
My dad is very ill with cancer, how I long to see him better
