it reminds me of the ambercrombie and fitch scandal that was started a few years back with their pornographic pedophile sales catalogues... and yet you still saw teens wearing their products right next to their parents, also sporting a&f clothes....
it makes me feel queasy, yes there are bad things i may be supporting with my hard earned cash that i am unaware of, but its not that way because i am just ignoring reality or have a lackadaisical attitude. its cause they have it buried deep enough that its not apparent. but to not want to protect your kids from blatant filth and then support that filth yourself is so far beyond my comprehension....:shifty

i don't even consider myself an activist type person, but i would not willingly allow that stuff to ever enter my house and if it did sneak by me, the items would find themselves flung out onto the street within seconds or meet their demise in the backyard firepit. :heh

Being aware & making other believers aware isn't fear, nor is it silly. It is necessary. Do most of us realise the symbols we use every day come from satanic beginnings? Those who do are afraid to say so. We don't want to get bashed.



i have mentioned before that i used to be a wiccan... i don't wear it as a badge, but i mention it to show the contrast between what i was and who i am now in Jesus Christ...

and there are things i remember from following what was then a more obscure religion, that i recognise almost immediately when it rears its ugly head again in every day things. i sometimes hope that perspective can be helpful to my brothers and sisters...so i share that when i feel it is important

when i was in my early twenties, people still had the sense to shun the witchy stuff.... now its embraced, expanded upon, made into a name brand, a style, something chic....:fear

nothing is being held back it seems.... small children wearing satanic symbols as designs on their clothing, kids wearing clothing labels made by people who are anti-family, anti-purity and anti-christ...

its like my rant a month or so ago about the number of young girls i see out and about wearing playboy merchandise... thats the last thing an innocent young female should be wearing...

and yes, i know many of these young ladies aren't "so innocent" i am not forgetting the things i did when i was their age... i can only imagine that today, like everything else, its only worse.
BUT their parents are not even making an attempt to protect their impressionable and vulnerable minds and bodies. They may claim that they are letting their child 'find their identity'. what a cop out, lazy parenting.
You teach your children that they are, like the rest of humanity, a sinner... and that they can rely on Christ to save them...you give them the basics by mirroring them yourselves

i have only one child, and she's going to be 9 soon... and boy, is she testing right now!so i'm not claiming to be perfect, but i guess what i am trying to say is how i simply don't get why none of these parents even seem to be trying? They just let everything go!

I was unaware that you had been into the wiccan cult. Praise Jesus you're out. I was never into the occult, just surrounded by it. My brother was a practicing witch, and a friend of mine was a very powerful warlock. I don't know where my brother is today, I pray for him daily. I praise God for bringing my friend out of it.

Well...to be perfectly honest, I've always regarded numerology as a load of old toss. There's not a single logical reason why such a thing would work.

In regards to being "blissfully unaware" about Satanic symbolism, I recently found out what the deal is with the 555 prefix used so frequently in movies and TV shows. On another Christian message board somebody brought up that the 2368 ending of the 555 number featured in the Ghostbusters movie is actually the Greek Gemetria of "Jesus Christ" and they were thinking that was really cool and perhaps prophetic in some way.

I looked it up. That much is true.

However, I couldn't help wondering if the 555 had any Biblical meaning...


Crazy as it sounds, the 555 prefix has to do with the fact there is no 555 prefix in the US for dialing phone numbers... Strange, but true.

500 is the 'Kaf Final' In Hebrew, which is a symbol of many things, including The Branch..

50 Being Nun - Fish, Potential, desire, a vow or reproduction.

5 in Gematria is a picture of the Spirit of G-d, Life and the 5 first books of the Bible.

I'd personally like to know what form the person used to get that number on Y'shua the Messiah/ Iesous Christos - since the closest I get on Y'shua/Iesous is:

Here's the thing, there's a difference in Numerology and biblical Gematria.

Hebrew and Greek letters are numerical AND alphabetical... and as Hebrew used to be more heiroglyphic, it has meaning in each letter, especially depending on its usage, and placement in a word. :)

Big difference of letters meaning x number and x number adds up to y which gives meaning z.

In the bible, not one letter is misplaced, and it's meaning is multi dimensional when you can see everything that is available in the passages...

As Y'shua Himself said:

You lost me at the first 555 derivative. I always heard the 555 was used because no area uses that prefix too. People try to call numbers in movies and shows, crazy as it sounds, so by using the fictional prefix this prevents that problem.

i never paid much attention to what #'s were called on movies until my daughter who is in film school said hey mom you know why they have everything start with 555? its because there is no prefix that starts with 555.

remember the song 867-5309? real # the guy had to change it so many people called asking for Jenny. why do i remember this other than being an 80's child? my # at the time was 867-5305

I'm one of those crazy mom's who hasn't allowed her son (now 16) to buy tshirts or anything for that matter since he was probably about 8, with skulls and bones on it (seems thats all that Kohl's and Target sells sometimes). It just looked like a representation of death to me, and seeing it on so many kids nowadays personally bothered me, I didn't want to see that kind of thing on him.

He now wears a small wooden cross necklace with plain tshirts, no messages, no pictures to high school, he won't leave the house without it.

I'm very proud of him, he wears a symbol of Jesus's sacrifice even though I never demanded or asked him too.

He says alot of kids love the pentagram, different wiccan and satan worship signs and wear them freely in public school, he thinks they don't really even know what they are doing, they are kinda stupid like that. He has never confronted anyone on it, he is very quiet and shy about things, but with friends he will.

I wish parents would pay attention to what their children wore when it comes to giving satan glory. :doh
