This is very much on topic :hug, and my heart goes out to you! I prayed for my Mom for 20 years, and she became a Christian 2 months before she died at age 73. Yes, His Holy Spirit can work on the hearts of our loved ones, convicting them of sin and the need for salvation in Jesus Christ alone.

Your mother is a living victim of this Catholic heresy, and these people go on being deceived because they think they are "saved" by this religious relic and a false "Mary". I pray other Catholics see these posts and realize just how much danger they are in!

Isn't that sad? My Mother, a devout catholic, tucks one of these scapulars of mary in her bra every morning when she gets dressed. She literally will not be without it. I'm not sure what she does with it when she gets into her PJ's at night. She also sleeps with her rosary beads so that she can pray to mary when she wakes in the night, as she often does.

I am heartsick for my Mother and other catholics and pray continually that they would know the Truth.

My DH used to wear one of these before he got saved... It is now somewhere in a trash heap since he cut it up and through it away 2 years ago :) Now we are trying to show the rest of his family the TRUE way to salvation... JESUS CHRIST!
