To all who serve, and their families, GOD bless you!!!!! To all who don't serve, and I mean those in DC who make a mockery of our country, shame on you!!! We will remember those who really care for our country. :sad When you have a CiC who'd rather go on vacation, again, than look out for the welfare for those who serve, and their families, somethng is very wrong. Please pray for our military, their families, and for Israel!!! :pray :pray :pray

I guess my wondering weather or not I'd get my military retirement check and/or VA disability check was just a waste of time... I'm still curious... Congress and the president would get their pay, of course, since they think they're better than the rest of us...

Your right Carol; Our so called strong Republican congress folded like a cheap suit.$38 billion vs $61 billion. What a comprise.:faint

Lord,bring us home soon..:pray

Yeah Jerry, as you know it's all leading to the down-fall of our dollar & government, and the rise of the NWO. :sad

Has to happen according to prophecy. God's Word foretells all. It's all playing out in real time...just amazing to experience it. :twitch

38 Billion cut? :twitch That's all they could manage...a few meager pennies for a nearly 4 trillion dollar budget? Some deal! Allow me to guess, did the senators & congress come out of that dark room all smiles and patting themselves on the back? :tsk

Tell me about it! While I'm glad that our brave men and women serving our country will be able to provide for their families, I can't help but feel that this is just a temporary bandaid put on the situation and that the real fight is yet to come.

No class trips to DC will have to be cancelled, Federal paychecks will be issued as usual and the fatal outlook for another 1,000,000 unborn children in the next year continues without change or hope thanks to Federal funding of Planned Parenthood. It's a matter of priorities.

God help us!:pray

It scares me that abortion is such a high priority. Priorities really are upside down. The only good news, if you can call it that, is that this particular budget does not go for a year (as the fiscal year is half over). It will only last for six months left and then they will have start over again.

I never gave this much thought at all, I knew that there would be a compromise, just knew it. If we could have that kind of faith in our everyday lives as it pertains to prayer think of how much better the world would be. It is a shame that this cut is only a mere drop in the bucket to the accumulated debt and future debt we will incur (10 - 12 Trillion in the next decade)... Our economic downfall is now sealed...

Faith statement of the day:

Mat 17:20 So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
