7 including flipflops and crocs. Should crocs even count? They are probably too ugly to count. How many shoes does your husband have? Make sure you count waders/work boots and sandals too!

Flip flops and Crocs do NOT count. No way! Though those Crocs are comfortable aren't they? Even so I absolutely refuse to wear the clog Crocs. I've got the in between the toe flip flop ones and the open toed sandle ones then got mad when I saw they were made in China AFTER I bought the dang things.

Told hubby I'm glad my feet are extremely calloused from martial arts otherwise some kind of toxin might leech into my skin from wearing them.:pound

He laughs about my feet. I keep them soft and unless you really look then you can't tell about the callouses all over them from breaking boards etc. I like to run around barefooted too. Other day I stepped on some glass and didn't even notice until I walked on the side walk. I said, "Whoops. Big piece of glass stuck in there." He got grossed out. I just pulled it out. Put on some hydrogen peroxide (never hit new skin or broke the skin) and got my scraper to make sure it stayed soft and then put lotion on it. He's like, "Oh.....that's icky.". Gave him the shudders.:spew

According to this article the average Atlanta woman spends $202 per pair of shoes. 59% have WAY more than 11 pair.

I have a pair of crocs for everyday and a pair of suede clog-type slip on shoes for church. I also only have one purse.
I may have old shoes or purses in the garage or attic, my Mom and sister kept trying to initiate me into the high heel club and kept giving me shoes but I haven't used anything but the two pair and one purse for at least a year. My crocs replaced just about everything else, they are sooooo comfy.
Just not a girly girl. I'd rather have gadgets than clothes or shoes. I like being comfy, too. High heels, OUCH.

I'd be in that 59% that had WAY more.:nod

I have at least 20 pair of shoes, and the shoe sickness is genetic, all three of my daughters have it, and they all have at least 30 pairs of shoes each.
The genetic sickness also developed into a purse weakness for my daughters, I on one hand can barely stand to buy purses, and use them till they fall apart, my daughters squeal with delight whenever the smell of leather and buckles are within a 2 mile range. The more pockets, weird colors and shapes the better when it comes to purses they can carry huge inventories of useless garbarge in.

Don't EVen ASK about MAKEUP...nail polish colors and jewelry....

I wish I had the money for all these useless items, I could feed a small country.

I know I'm late into this conversation but....what is a croc :scratch? I've never heard of this. :idunno

Also...$202.00 for a pair of shoes?! Maybe I'm a just country bumpkin, but I wouldn't spend 1/4 of that for a single pair of shoes. Wow...

:shocked I just counted. I have 43 pairs of shoes (including flipflops) in my closet. I didn't count those out in the garage I use for yard work and such. I still find that at times I don't have the right shoe for the outfit I have on sometimes and I'm a casual dresser...

Still can't touch me even though I don't count flip flops, tennis shoes, and certain sandles. :evil3 Neener. Neener.:heh

I still plead the Fifth on exactly how many pair of shoes I actually own though. :tape

I haven't counted how many shoes I have, but I know it's a lot. I don't wear them all though...some I need to just throw/give away -- those shouldn't count. Now purses....ahhhh.....I love purses. Although I have gained some control in this area....really I just haven't seen any that I liked in awhile!

My husband says this ladies: "It's a want, not a need."

Where do they come up with this stuff?
