I believe God when He says that to follow Him you can expect trials tribulation and persecution. I've had plenty of that and am sure I will get more before my life is over. But there are blessings too and I just want to share.
I was just in Australia for 3 months on business for Arbonne. I left our tanning salon/spa in the hands of employees. Now we've owned salons since 1994 and in the past could not even take a 1 week vacation without disaster happening in the salons.
God is AWESOME! Not only was I not there to make sales (the owner always sells more than employees) but our payroll went through the roof as I wasn't working and needed employees the entire time. Well..............
We had our best year EVER and made enough extra over last year to compensate for the extra payroll. And not one disaster happened. Not even a tiny little problem. Not for 3+ months. Not one.
And this is in Michigan where the economy is in the trash, the anchor store in our strip mall (a large grocery chain store) closed in May, there are for sale signs everywhere, the town right next to us is #1 in home foreclosures over $1 million, etc. This should not have happened in the natural scheme of things. But it did. And the only explanation I have is that God truly blessed us.
