Hi, I hope I don't start out by making any mistakes. I don't know anyone here, but I know you're mostly my brothers and sisters, so I'll introduce myself. I'll confess--I really need you right now. I'm hanging onto two verses: "My grace is sufficient" and "Soon."
I am married and have three adult children--one of them just made it to his eternal home. I'm so happy for him, but I am grieving so badly for myself and the rest of my family. Looking up is what is keeping me going.
He was 29 and in a motorcycle accident six months ago. I have become somewhat of a recluse since then. I can't risk going out and having a crying spell in public. Everything in this town reminds me of him and breaks my heart all over again; so I just stay home. Joining RR, I suppose, is an attempt at reaching out and not being so reclusive.
My husband and my daughter and other son are all believers. My daughter is the one who introduced me to RR (which has been such a blessing.) I needed to know that there are others out there who are like-minded and looking forward to hearing that trumpet.
Thanks for letting me lean on you. I promise I'll be there when you need to lean.

Hello to both of you and welcome.
I've been a member of RR for a couple years or so.
I get alot of good encouragement here, and its the best place to keep updated on all the news. You can find more up to date current news on what's happening concerning the end times than you would find anywhere.
homesick.........I know how you feel. I, too, lost my son 7 years ago.
I am still grieving and heartbroken. Can't think about, or as I type now,
I'm starting to tear up. The grief NEVER leaves. It is with me 24/7.
It has been 7 years, but feels like 1 hour ago.
I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts, if you could also say a prayer for me.
I have to stop typing about it, now, because I'm starting to :cry .

Thanks for the prayers from both of you. It's good to know I'm not the only new member, "ILG."
"Teach Me", I'll certainly keep you in my prayers, too. It's strange how just a word or a thought can bring the tragedy back so fresh, that the tears just start flowing and the grief feels so overwhelming, all over again. I'll cry with you, so maybe we can share the grief tonight (or actually, this morning). It helps to know that we are sharing in His grief, too; and He was willing to go through it all, willingly, for us. That blows me away.
I'll keep you both in my prayers. God has made prayer so much more important to me since Adam went to be with Him.

homesick, :heythere
Welcome to RR, so glad you joined us. Sorry you are hurting so deeply over your son, but how wonderful to view it as 'making it' to eternity! :hug
The headlines are indicating the imminent return of Yeshua when we all will graduate to glory!
The prayer request section is a wonderful place of fellowship and support. It is a blessing to see so many laboring for the brethren. Trusting God will bless your time here. My shoulder is available for you as well.
Shalom in Christ

Thanks for the welcomes and the encouragement. I will try the prayer request section. My daughter posted on it right after my son was killed back in March. She told me many people were praying for our family back then.

:hug Yes welcome to RR! I am sorry to hear about your loss, you will find there are a number of members who have experienced the loss of a child. Some, like yourself have lost sons this year. If your daughter posted a prayer request in March you will not find your request. All our threads only go back as far as April. Please do post again, that the prayer warriors can cover you and your loved ones in prayer.:hug Every blessing :pray
