my dog needs surgery

She jumped off my bed and tore the ligament of her right hind leg. I'm taking her for surgery today. The animal hospital is an hour away and she always gets sick in the car. She'll have to stay overnight. I can't wait until it's over and she's on the mend. I just want her to be her old self again.

Oh she's so cute! I have 2 malteses and a pomeranian.. I remember when my baby had to go get fixed -- it was horrible having to leave her there ALL day i can't imagine all night.. Praying for a quick and speedy recovery and peace for you while she's gone. (((hug))):hug

I'm so sorry about your dog-baby. But the vets will fix it.

One thing that helps with my dogs that get sick (from nerves) when travelling is a tranquilizer that I got from the vet for that very reason. It calms them down and keeps their tummies settled. Perhaps it could work for yours in the car.
