Hmmm. . .the public was never at risk. Would they say any different? Maybe this has something to do with the rise in disease that I remember being part of the end times with wars, rumors of war, famine. . .ah, you get the picture.

How many accidents can you have before you have a REAL accident that could cause a lot of trouble???? ...or maybe they have and we don't know about it!!! :reaction

What is even scarier than accidents is that there are misanthropic Atheist scientists like Dr. Eric Pianka, who actually advocate genocide with bioweapons. This guy openly propsed that 90% of the human poplution should be "culled" in order to "save the planet" during a speech in front of the Texas Academy of Science and was met with a STANDING OVATION!
more here (http://www.sas.org/tcs/weeklyIssues_2006/2006-04-07/feature1p/index.html)

You can find tons of material about this Atheist Fundamentalist's revolting proposal, just google "Dr. Pianka Genocide"

Interestingly, Dr. Pianka was not censured, or fired. He was not disciplined in ANY WAY. Contrast this to the way academics who dare to even question Darwinism in the slightest are fired and completely ostracized!

OMG! It gets way worse! I was reading that article again (I knew he advocated global genocide before) and I now noticed that he makes biblical references to tribulation!

He then showed solutions for reducing the world's population in the form of a slide depicting the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. War and famine would not do, he explained. Instead, disease offered the most efficient and fastest way to kill the billions that must soon die if the population crisis is to be solved.

Pianka then displayed a slide showing rows of human skulls, one of which had red lights flashing from its eye sockets.

AIDS is not an efficient killer, he explained, because it is too slow. His favorite candidate for eliminating 90 percent of the world's population is airborne Ebola ( Ebola Reston ), because it is both highly lethal and it kills in days, instead of years. However, Professor Pianka did not mention that Ebola victims die a slow and torturous death as the virus initiates a cascade of biological calamities inside the victim that eventually liquefy the internal organs.

After praising the Ebola virus for its efficiency at killing, Pianka paused, leaned over the lectern, looked at us and carefully said, “We've got airborne 90 percent mortality in humans. Killing humans. Think about that.”

Slow day in the news room - especially with the hurricane season being such a bust so far for the lame-stream media...

...therefore AP must go out and "gin-up" fresh new cary stories as to what "might" one day happen- ..?

..well just perhaps / maybe / once upon a time in the far future... :doh
