God truly sustains. I have learned to wait on the LORD. Having just moved to Jacksonville without a job, I was starting to get concerned about finding work as the funds we saved started to deplete. But I waited on the LORD.
Now that I have gotten a chance to finish a lot of work around the house (painting, changing the locks, hanging curtains, etc.), God provided me a great job in His time.
Not only is this job in my field, but it also involves something in which I take great interest - the military. I tried to go into the Marines and, after 9/11, the Coast Guard. I have a disqualifying skin condition, so God has made it abundantly clear that I would not be a fighter.
But now I have the chance to develop training and technical materials for the new F-35 fighter jet! How awesome is that?
I am really looking forward to what the LORD has in store for me in this new position.
Praise God, for He alone is worthy! He is my fortress and high tower. He is my salvation and provider.
