We Finished Our School Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:yeah

a little reading, math, and journaling is all we will be up to as far as academics! :yeah

Made it another year! :pray

I'll be saving that around mid September :panic hopefully! We started our summer schedule today. It is a lot harder in the summer than it is in the winter. We can't really do much outside in Florida in the summer except swim so we pack it on in the summer. In the winter we work maybe 3 hours a day, in the summer we are at it for a full 6 hours. Not all of it is hard work though. Like right now my oldest daughter, who is an excellent dancer, is working with her younger sister in ballet right now. That is their indoor PE for the summer. It is funny to watch because I had my oldest daughter put together an entire lesson plan for dance for the summer and she has to get it all done just like I have to get everything with them done. She wants to own her own studio (performing arts studio) one day so this is on the job training for her. She will go back to being an assistant in August at her dance school, which is more great training. We also do a lot more hands on science experiments and history projects that just take more time than we have in the busy winter season.

:candle Hey, I need some advice, ladies.

:hug If you feel that this is where the Lord is leading you then stop being nervous and trust that He will lead you in the right direction. That means He will also lead you to the right materials. :nod

Here is a good place to start:

Here are some homeschool organizations in your state:
http://www.hslda.org/orgs/default.asp?State=WA
Contact one of them and ask to talk to someone about getting started in your state. They will be an invaluable resource for you. :hug
