So i was sitting here reading the Bible this morning and the daily devo i have calls days of praise and I'd never read Isaiah 60:14 that says

"Also the sons of those who afflicted you should come bowing to you and all those who despised you shall fall prostrate at the soles of your feet and they shall call you the City of the Lord. The Holy one of Israel."

Well forgive me if I am taking this out of context but didn't Jesus say to the faithful church in Rev 3:9 "Behold I will make those who are of the synogauge of satan (who say they are jews and are not) come and worship at your feet to know that I have loved you"

So the blessed HS guided me to remember Rev 21:2 that says

"I John, saw the Holy City the New Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven from God prepared as a bride adorned for her husband" (King Jesus) :yeah

And den in 2 Corn 11:2 Paul says "For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy for I have betrothed you to one husband that I may present you a chaste virgin to Christ"

Ok so paul again says in Ephesians 5:25 Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her. 27: That He might present her to Himself without spot and blemish 30: And the two shall become one flesh. This is a great mystery I speak concerning Christ and the Church..

Some other references i digged up is Isa 45:14 and Isa 49:23...

Just curious what my brothers and sisters think about this.

What Isaiah was writing about isn't quite the same as what is being written elsewhere. Isaiah 60 is eschatological in my understanding. It only confuses things when we allegorize what he was writing about.

I would say that those who claim to be Jews are a reference to cults, and bad theology.

Rev 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

Problem is that seems to include all "Replacement Theology" folks. They number in the thousands ... tens of tens of thousands.

Isaiah 60:14 is referring to the millennial kindom and ultimately the the heavenly Jerusalem.

The opening phrases of vs 16 emphasize that as a mother gives milk for the substance of her child, so the nations will give of their life for the substance of Israel. The beast of kings refers to the quality of the resourses received by Israel.

In the latter part of this verse Isaiah reminds the people again that it is not the inherent worth of Israel that brings this to pass, but the Lord thy Saviour and Redeemer (Ish 49:26) <><
