I just go on ebay and search for whatever coupons you are looking for. You have to pay a little for them, but I get tons of coupons for exactly what I need and save bundles. I'm not sure why I stockpile toiletries, but just this week I spent about $30 on over 100 bottles of shampoo and conditioner. We'll be set for a while, and I was able to bless several families who were in need. I agree that sometimes I don't know why I feel compelled to do things things, but I'm not going to talk back to God. :)

Ok, I just have to tell everyone how well I'm doing with this coupon thing.

I've been saving coupons, and I joined GroceryGame.com. I can't believe how much money I'm saving. :yeah I'm saving more and more each week. Last week I went to Walgreens, and bought almost $40 worth of product, but after all the coupons, and their store coupons I only spent $9.43. :yeah

Today, I went to Walgreens again, and bought $30 worth of stuff, and only spent $11 after coupons and store coupons. Most of it was tax. I bought two tubes of Aqua Fresh toothpaste for only .24 cents each. I bought two tubes of Colgate toothpaste for only .75 cents. I had a store coupon for Trident gum for .59 and I had two buy one get one free coupons. I got two packs of gum for FREE. Then I went to Kroger, and bought $98 worth of food and only spent $50 after coupons and store discounts. I got some stuff for FREE, and some I only paid like .10 or .20 depending on the coupon. Pretty COOL!! I would normally spend a lot more because I don't stock up. Now I have enough laundry detergent and toothpaste to last several months. It only took 2 weeks to do that. I'm so excited.

Couponing really works, but you do have to spend a little time getting organized. But I figure, my time is worth about $40/hour.

Well, I was excited about my little purchase.

Publix had grands biscuits for BOGO free.. I had a coupon for $.30 off 2, well my Publix doubles so I ended up paying $.55 for each can of 8!! I had 3 coupons so I got 6 cans..

Also, check the clearance. I shop at Target and they always have stuff on clearance. Many times it is special buys like free with purchase items. Once they has shampoo with a free conditioner on clearance for $1.50 and I had a few $1 off coupons, so I ended up getting shampoo and conditioner for $.50 Not a bad deal at all

My deal of the month has been free as well. I have BOGO free coupons for shampoo and conditioner, and $2.00 off leave in conditioners and detangling spray. I now have two large Rubbermaid totes and a closet full that I have only paid tax for (literally hundreds of bottles and I've spent about $30). I've also walked away with two bags full of Excedrin headache medicine. Obviously I don't need that much stuff, so the Lord has put it on my heart to share with anyone who is in need. It's amazing what we take for granted. I gave about 20 bottles away last week and the girls were so excited, exclaiming, "Wow! This is the good stuff too!"

I'm so glad to see that many of you have started couponing!! It is so much fun and a great way to save money and build your stockpile, too!

If you haven't already, you may want to look into CVS. It is a pharmacy and if you have one in your area, you can save an incredible amount of money there. They have a program called Easy Care Bucks (ECBs) where they refund you a certain amount of money on different items each week. Then, you can use this money (ECBs) to buy more stuff and get more ECBS, etc.

As an example, this is what I did today at CVS. I bought:

2 Crest ProHealth Toothpaste
1 Beano
2 4 pak AA CVS batteries
5 Propel waters
3 Tylenol Extra Strength$ rapid release 100 ct
2 Pledge Duster Starter Kits
1 Aqua Velva After Shave Balm

Total came to $53 plus change, but after coupons I only paid $1.14!!!! AND, I "earned" $21 plus change to spend next time!

CVS is where I often get personal care items and household cleaning items for free! Things like Tide laundry soap, makeup, shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. you can usually get free at CVS using ECBs. Oh and diapers, too, if you need those.

If you want to learn more about how to do this, you can go to hotcouponworld and go to the CVS forum and read the CVS 101 thread or you can also go to afullcup.com and do the same. Both sites have lots of couponing information. Read, read, read and ask questions. Lots of helpful people there.

Hope this helps!

Jryanna,

I wish we had CVS in Colorado, but alas, we don't. The best I can do is Walgreens and RiteAid. Not always the best deals.

Is there any place that will mail you coupons for free for groceries?
I go to Publix and never use coupons...but that would save me soooo much money!!
We don't have a printer so I can't print them out and we also don't get the Sunday paper....

I would recommend reading the Publix thread at www.hotcouponworld.com. If you're looking for inserts, I would try www.couponsthingsbydede.com. She lists the inserts available and indexes them so you can see what is in each of them. It's a very handy feature. :)

I ordered 20 inserts for $11.10. The shipping was the same for 20 as for 10. She also shipped them the day after I ordered them. Very quick service. :)
