Usually the line about "you're just using scare tactics" is followed by some statement that we only used talk of Hell to scare people into giving $.
I respond by asking, "If you got referred by your Doctor to an oncologist, who told you that you had a cancer, but it was 100% treatable, would you harass him, saying, 'You Drs are always talking about Cancer! You just want to scare us into paying for expensive treatments!?' Or would you ask him to start the 100% sucessful treatments as soon as possible? Well we all have a disease called Sin, which will kill us all if not treated, and the treatment is 100% guarnteed successful. Do you want to meet the one who can give it to you for free?"

Bill Weise & his wife will be at a church I frequent at the end of this month. I have his book but haven't read it yet. LOL...I've had it over a year!

I, personally, didn't think Mr. Weise said anything contradictory to scripture. And he didn't die and go to hell...if I have his testimony correct, he had a vision. Whether in the body or out (as Paul said about his own experience), he isn't sure.
I did use it as a witnessing tool...and the person came to Christ.

What he says is very contrary to scripture.
He states that he is tortured by demons. Hell was MADE for the demons. They will be the ones tortured. Hell was not made for the demons to inflict punishment on man.
God alone dispenses justice and punishment - and He doesn't need demons to do it. That is very 'human' kind of thinking and right out of man's imagination - not of God.

What do you mean you used it as a witnessing tool? And how did the person come to Christ? Did the person see their sin by the Law and repent and trust Jesus Christ? This just sounded strange that you used a book and the person surrendered to Christ like that.

Wow! I was just thinking about this earlier. Before I became a christian I came across that website. And that other one when that woman was "taken to hell and then Jesus took her to heaven". I was very interested in this but it's funny because when I became a Christian I dismissed them as being false.
huh, makes you think!
I love you Jesus!
