All you guys that are in the military, law enforcement and fire/rescue/EMT...Thank You.
I'm a partner in a small design/build general contracting company. We specialize in outside "stuff"; decks, screen porches, 3 season rooms...that sort of thing.

Gee I"m in a boring (but great benefits ) Software engineering job with IBM.
I"m in the outsourcing devision, so lots of our jobs are being outsourced :)
I"m working on creating a 2nd career for myself as an options trader/stock trader (finding I really like what I've done so far ). Hope to have our house paid off in 2 more years and be totally debt free !!!!! (Lord please let these plans come through)...

After 30 years in heavy equipment repairs (Clark Equipment and Caterpillar) I finally did what I was supposed to have done many years ago. I became a Salvation Army officer and am preaching the undiluted word of God. I have read hundreds of posts on RR regarding the non-scriptural-teaching that goes on these days and have taken as my mission to tell-it clearly like it is, straight from the scriptures, whether popular or not. I've discovered that many are truly thirsting for the word!

IHow about you? What do you do?
Well, my last job I had for about six years, I was a programmer at a telecommunications manufacturing company. They pretty much went out of business. I worked a few places since then, but then had a back injury so have lived off savings for some time, but am pretty much all healed up now :)
Apart from working for "the maaan", I am a computer graphics artist and independent game developer. I'm currently working on a startup business amounting to a commercial release of the first game which has been in development for about two years. I also do freelance work as an artist (modeler, texture artist, animator), mostly for independent game studios. I consider my skills to be intermediate overall and am studying to being pro level, though many insist I already am there. Soon, I hope, there will be no more need to work for "the maaan" :hat
