What do you do for a living?

I worked my first day for Praxair yesterday. The plant I hired on at makes liquid hydrogen and liquid nitrogen. Looks to be an extremely laid back plant, too. Ten people at the entire facility compared to around a thousand at the last place I worked. Looks to be far less labor intensive than my last job, which is good since I had a bad knee surgery in January.

I am a Sergeant in the Detective Bureau in my hometown sheriffs office. I worked my way up from the radio room, to patrol, to the Bureau.

But

I got hurt on the job, blew 2 disc in my spine, and managed to get arthritis in a joint in my spine to boot. So I am sidelined while trying to get better.

I really don't know what I am going to do if/when I get better. I know God has a plan for me, but I just cant see it yet.

Oh and don't feel sorry for me Brothers. I have two sons, a 5 year old and a 2 year old. The blessing from this back injury has been that I have been able to be a stay at home dad and raise my boys.
