I don't know if anyone posted this, but here's a video about the protesters from Jesse Watters.

Thanks, Tesseract. Enlightening. :hat Why is it that whenever these anti-establishment nimrods are interviewed they all prove the need for remedial readin', writin' and 'rithmatic. What a bunch of inarticulate morons! :rolleyes

Wow... My reaction after watching the Fox News video posted by Tesseract...

Are our schools that bad? Embarrassing portrayal of our youth today...

The mob is awaiting a leader to bring them a unified vision. Ah, for the good old days of brilliant rhetoric!

Che Guevara - Revolution is not a ripe apple that falls. You have to make it fall.

Vladimir Ilyich Lenin - A lie told often enough becomes the truth. It is true that liberty is precious. It is so precious it must be rationed.

Fidel Castro - Capitalists use their money; socialists throw it away. The universities are available only to those who share my philosophy.

Poor imitations of the real deal!

MAO TSE TUNG! - Learn from the masses, then lead them. The guerilla must move among the masses like a fish in the ocean. Let a hundred flowers bloom, let a hundred schools of thought be born!

I'm going to Wall Street to set up a (capitalist) refreshment stand. I'll ask the masses, "Do you want Mao with your hot dogging?"

I think we better start praying now for our brothers and sisters who live and/or work in or near these areas where the tent villages will be. I have a feeling mob rule will be the law of the day with regard to procuring items from nearby stores, restaurants, etc. and even homes. Marantha!

They will be overpowered by strange aromas.

This is just crazy. Originally when this all began, I was thinking it would be people who were trying to make a difference, such as drawing attention to the nations unemployment, underemployment, inflation, and all the dominoes that fall as a result. These people just seem to be there for no true purpose, - almost as if it's nothing more than a provocation. They do not have a clear agenda or cause, or so it seems.

I am sure this is all plays into prophecy in some way, but I do not understand any of it. I just pray they will all get tired and just go home. I do not see anything good coming from this.

All this can escalate into a riot. This has been going on 3 weeks now. There is already a protest (Occupy Wall Street) going on here in Lexington, Kentucky.

If I had to guess, I'd say that few to none of these people really know WHAT they're protesting for or against, or, if they DO know, they only know it by a name or buzzword (say, climate change), and have not really researched what they're protesting to know how they really feel about it. I get the feeling, just from what I've seen here and on the news, that a lot of them are what we always used to call "petted" -- that is, SPOILED. On one hand, they seem to be protesting against wealth and greed, while at the same time they bemoan how poor they are. If they had more money, wouldn't THEY be part of the very system they're protesting? I guess they really do just want the wealth spread around and want to reap what they've not sown. The comment by that one girl about her and her boyfriend having so much owing in student loans?? Well, join the crowd, sister! Everybody (well, most everybody) owes money on SOMETHING.

Lots of grasshoppers around lately thinking the world owes them a living, and not enough ants (remember the fable?).

I don't see this blowinig up like the Arab Spring, though. I have a feeling these people are so used to comfort that they think that camping out on Wall Street is roughing it and making a statement. They would run home in a hot minute if they were presented with the kind of violence seen in Egypt and Libya. They might even be grateful for what they had, no matter how little.

Oh, for crying out loud. How did I miss that?

I'm not sure if my brain is refusing to follow their issue(s) properly because I just want to disagree with them or what, but I'm having trouble understanding exactly what they are protesting. I get the idea...in general. But I think that's my problem with it...it's too general. Are they blaming Wall Street, the government, individuals, corporations, capitalism itself...what? There's little unity from what I can see other than they are united in protest. And it looks too much like they are protesting the need for change. I heard enough about "change" three years ago and that road is way too heavily traveled. I want the other road.

My 20y/o daughter was ready to quit her job and run up there at the drop of a hat. She says she's been praying for direction and all of a sudden some facebook "friend" asks her if she wants to head to N.Y. My husband and I had a long day yesterday, praying and pleading with her not to go. She is a smart girl and has paid most of her own way since she was 16 because we dont believe handing things to our kids on a silver platter. She is very responsible and loves the Lord, but recently has started following the new age crowd. We continue to pray the Lord will open her eyes to the truth that she was raised in. Thankfully, her "friend" backed out of the deal and they have decided to go to the protest in New Orleans this weekend instead (At least she doesn't have to give up her job for that one)

My heart breaks for all the youth who are being deceived by the enemy. Please pray that they will be able to finish the race strong. I just wanted you all to hear a different side to this story. When I first heard about the protests, my first thoughts were those of hippies too. Unfortunately, I now know from experience this isn't necessarily the case.
