Officials: Middle School Students Caught In Sex Act In Class

HOUSTON -- Some parents in Fort Bend County are outraged after their children said they witnessed a pair of eighth-graders engaged in a sex act, right in the middle of class.
Parents told KPRC Local 2 that they received the unsettling news about an incident at Crockett Middle School in a letter that went home on Friday.

"My mouth flew open when you told me just a few minutes ago," Lubergha Munson said. "I didn't expect you to say anything like that. I thought you were going to say they were fighting or something."


The principal sent letters home with some students explaining a situation that was reported to campus administrators last week.

The principal reported that the students, a boy and a girl, made inappropriate sexual contact with each other while other students watched.
That was a shock for Tom Ray, who has a 14-year-old daughter.

"To me there are a host of problems and I think it starts at home," Ray said.

In the letter, Principal Corliss Rogers said that there was an investigation and that both students received appropriate disciplinary action.

The letter does not say where the teacher was at the time.

I wonder what action was taken against those students. Hopefully it was very harsh...like being charged with having sex acts in public! These kids need to learn discipline and respect for authority and themselves. If they can't learn it at home then maybe they need to be locked up for a period of time while learning it. They also need to be exposed to a teen Christian ministry that teaches to abstain from sex and teaches other biblical areas.

They keep shoving sex at them so they're reacting to it.

If Joselyn Elders had her way, she'd teach them about sex in kindergarten.

Well, they are having sex in school, so it is the school's responsibility to give them a little sex talk, and if they get pregnant, it is the welfare responsibility to pay for it. Who need parents?

A couple years ago this happened in a local school with 3 special students around 6th grade. I don't remember much about it now, but at least 2 of them were having sex on school grounds. I recall the instigator was sent to another school and the other 2 remained. And of course, the principal - the leader that she was - had the same attitude that "they are going to do it eventually anyway".

So frustrating.

I have a sister who is a teacher & she says there's group sex going on with very young kids. Also, there are lots of exhibitionists where I live, even made the news. There are also more gays here than you could shake a very large stick at.

Why were they caught in the middle? This is insane, the school's here in America are just sewers for our young children. Today GOD can't get her quick enough.

My hubby's co-worker got his 10 yr old son a cell phone and was quietly watching what he a a girl were texting. It started out innocent enough but then he got a text asking if he wanted to meet and have anal sex!!!!! 10 year olds...this is crazy. I have an 8 year old boy and I'm starting to wonder how much I should be talking to him. I already had a drug and alcohol talk with him. Kids can't be kids anymore. I NEVER thought about sex until I was around 16! I'm only 32 and this not only scares me but I pray GOD will return SOON! Our kids need so much protection it's unbelievable

It's happening in the bathrooms at our inner city schools. I have a co-worker, whose son witnessed this going on.

I would be up at that school so fast, heads would spin. I keep mentioning Christian school to my 13 year old. I am thinking about it more and more. Public schools refuse to control these kids, and it's going to get worse.
