A 26-year-old Kanata woman faces a charge of second-degree murder after police allege she gave birth to a baby boy, killed him and put him in the trash.

Police Staff-Sgt. Monique Perras said Angela Kuehl was arrested yesterday morning without incident and charged later that afternoon following a five-month investigation into the death of her newborn.

Kuehl is expected to make her first court appearance this morning.

Everytime I see a story like this I grieve for days afterward. Grieve is the only word that fits how it affects me. So many people can't have babies, and others are out there KILLING THEIRS!!! What on Earth is the matter with these people who do this?! A baby just wants to be cared for and loved and you snuff its life out like it was NOTHING!! I'm sitting here, not married yet, no kids, longing to be a father, and to hear something like this just breaks my heart!

There are no words for this horror. I am one of those who can't have children so now I have 6 dogs, and I rescue them. It shocks me to see what some of these animals have had to endure and the conditions which they have suffered. But it's nothing to what people do to other people and are willing to do to their own children. This is what happens when you tell people there is no GOD and that you ancestors were swinging in the trees. Darwinism is destroying the souls of our youth and turning them into little narcisistic, cold sociopaths.

I'm sitting here, not married yet, no kids, longing to be a father, and to hear something like this just breaks my heart!


Who ever you marry will be so fortunate to have such a warm hearted man! So, will your children b/c I know so many men that don't realize what a blessing their children are.



I got pregnant with my first baby when I was 19 - had him when I was 20. Even as a teenager, I would never have committed such a horrible act. Never in my worst moments as a mother would such a thing even enter my mind. Not that age would be an excuse, but at 26, she knew better. I just cannot understand. Especially now, as I sit here on the couch next to our newest addition, a three month old baby boy.

Our adopted daughter was left outside near a market, bloody from birth with her cord still attached. Our adopted son was left outside a hospital ER - he was about 3 months old.

It's real easy to hurt those that can't fight back.

I'm in the same boat as you, I'm 20yrs old, not married with no children and i really long to have a family, it just breaks my heart to hear of people doing this to their own children. my cousin who is 22 just had her first baby on Oct 3rd, a little girl named Makayla Grace. i know it isn't right but i can't help feeling a little jealous, i really long to have a family.
