Wages in the Automotive Industry

I work in an industry (air traffic) that the current administration is targeting for union busting. What a miserable time it is right now in our business. Unions still matter to me. I've seen now for a year what unchecked power can do.

Who will represent the worker in negotiations for pay and benefits if a union doesn't. And if you have no power in your representation, nobody is going to pay what you deserve, and your going to be very poor.

You'll be eating pork and beans for the rest of your life, have no benefits or retirement because you'll not have enough to live on and put your kids through college, much less retire with anything that'll buy groceries and medicine.

People take advantage of everything, its the nature of sinful humanity, people take advantage of the government, doesn't mean we shouldn't have it, of their taxes, doesn't mean we shouldn't have them or pay them, of the laws, doesn't mean they shouldn't exist, people cheat, lie, steal, but you don't want a country without unions.
